    摘要: An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) device which produces substantially white light includes a substrate; an anode disposed over the substrate; and a hole injecting layer disposed over the anode. The device also includes a hole transport layer disposed over the hole injecting layer; a light-emitting layer doped with a blue light-emitting compound, disposed directly on the hole transport layer; and an electron transport layer disposed over the blue light-emitting layer. The device further includes a cathode disposed over the electron transport layer; and the hole transport layer, electron transport layer, or the electron transport layer and the hole transport layer being selectively doped in a region which corresponds to an entire layer or a partial portion of a layer in contact with the blue light-emitting layer, the selective doping being with a compound which emits light in the yellow region of the spectrum.

A sublayer of the HTL, the ETL, or both the HTL and the ETL comprises a derivative of anthracene as a color-neutral dopant, the sublayer being adjacent to the EML. A color-neutral dopant is a dopant whose presence does not alter the electroluminescent color of the device.

    摘要: A magnetooptical recording medium is described having a substrate, a seed layer structure having at least two layers including a first layer formed on the substrate and having amorphous ITO and having a thickness of greater than 20 nm but less than 200 nm; and a polycrystalline metal layer formed directly on the first layer having a thickness of 0.2-3.2 nm. The recording medium further includes a recording multilayer of alternate layers of platinum and cobalt or palladium and cobalt alloy deposited onto the said seed layer structure, whereby the said seed layer structure is selected to improve the coercivity and squareness of the recording multilayer.

    摘要: The present invention pertains to a storage medium for use in a magneto-optical storage system. The storage medium comprises two layers of magnetic material, a storage layer and a read layer. The magnetic material of the storage layer has perpendicular (or vertical) axis of orientation; and within the storage layer the direction of magnetic orientation is either parallel or anti-parallel (up or down) relative to the direction of an impinging read radiation beam. In this storage system, the direction of orientation of magnetic material in one direction represents a first logical state, and a direction of orientation in the opposite direction represents a second logical state. The direction of orientation is thus a function of stored data. The read layer has parallel magnetic orientation and a transition temperature above the operating temperature but below the read temperature such that the axis of orientation of the magnetic material and the direction of orientation of the read layer during readout is the same as the corresponding portion of the storage layer.
