    摘要: A wind energy converter with a rotor having a vertical swivelling axis hasn each rotor arm a vertical vane that is supported so as to be able to pivot about an approximately vertical pivotting axis on the leading edge of the vane. A balance weight is installed in a vane nose section that is located ahead of the leading edge of the vane. The overall center of gravity of the mass of the body consisting of the vane and the balance weight is located ahead of the swivelling axis of the vane. The vane is made with an assymetrical airfoil section. The vane adjusts to the particular optimal angle of attack in the course of each rotation of the rotor. The wind energy converter has a high degree of efficiency at low and medium relative velocity values, and is self-starting.

    摘要: Apparatus for recovering paint spills is disclosed comprising a receptacle adapted to fit about the bottom of a paint can, the receptacle having side walls extending for a distance beyond the outer periphery of the bottom of the paint can to which such apparatus is attached to provide a gutter for catching paint spills. The apparatus may be held in place against a paint can by means of straps which may be secured to the rim of the can and a pouring spout may be provided in the receptacle to empty the receptacle of an accumulation of paint spills.

    摘要: A method and a device for attaching and removing an additional device having individual elements to and from a main boom of a mobile crane using no auxiliary crane is provided. In the method, a partial piece of the additional device having partial pieces is raised into an inclined position while being rotated about an upper pivot point, and a head of the main boom is bolted to a lower end of the inclined end of the partial piece of the additional device facing the mobile crane so as to be able to rotate. Using a hoist cable, all partial pieces are raised in alignment with respect to each other and the main boom, and are bolted to each other in this position and to the main boom. A displacement device for carrying out the method is also provided.

    摘要: A jaw strengthening device may have an upper mouthpiece and a lower mouthpiece. These mouthpieces may be attached to each other by way of a coil compression spring. This allows the upper and lower mouthpieces to shift front and back as well as laterally so that the upper and lower mouthpieces do not track a specific pivot point, but can follow the natural movement of the jaw. A film is wrapped around the spring and expands outwardly as the user bites down on the mouthpieces to push the inside surface of the person's cheek away from the coils of the spring and prevent the coils of the spring from pinching the user's cheek. Additionally, the device may be inserted inside the person's mouth so that the device is not aesthetically obtrusive.

    摘要: An upright assembly for a shelving system includes a tubular upper upright section having a bottom end portion, a rail assembly and a base assembly having a top end portion and a tubular lower upright section. The base assembly is adapted to stand on a surface and the top end portion of the lower upright section of the base assembly is connected to the bottom end portion of the upper upright section. An insert blade assembly connector including a blade and an alignment plate is positioned within the tubular upper and lower upright sections. The rail assembly is connected to the upper upright section and the lower upright section of the base assembly to strengthen the connection between the upper upright section and the base assembly.
