摘要: A method is provided for controlling an operation of a mobile crane, the operation comprising a user input, the user input comprising a command to change a configuration of the mobile crane. The method comprises the steps of: determining a current tipping moment of the mobile crane, the tipping moment comprising a moment about a tipping line of the mobile crane; predicting an effect of the user input on the tipping moment of the mobile crane; and if the predicted effect of the user input is to increase the tipping moment of the mobile crane past a predetermined amount, altering a response to the user input. A system for controlling an operation of a mobile crane, and a user display system for a mobile crane are also provided.

摘要: A crane vehicle achieves safe movement by reliably detecting an obstacle in a region which is a blind spot from the opposite side of the driver seat across a boom. The crane vehicle includes an obstacle sensor which is a transmission/reception antenna that transmits a detection wave and receives the detection wave reflected from the obstacle. A signal corresponding to the reflected wave received by the obstacle sensor is amplified and input to a controller, which calculates the position and the size of the obstacle on the basis of the signal. The controller generates an obstacle display image and displays the image on a display, the obstacle display image including a vehicle object that represents a crane vehicle and an obstacle object which is an object corresponding to the calculated size of the obstacle and which is disposed at a position corresponding to the calculated position of the obstacle.

摘要: A crane includes a carrier unit having a chassis, tires connected to the chassis, a carrier deck and outriggers. A superstructure is mounted on the carrier unit, the superstructure includes a telescoping boom. A slope sensor is operably connected to the carrier unit and configured to detect a pitch and/or a roll of the carrier unit during a lift operation. The crane further includes a system for monitoring a load lifted by the telescoping boom. The system is configured to determine the current load lifted by the telescoping boom, receive pitch and/or roll information of the carrier unit from the slope sensor, adjust coordinates of the crane in a coordinate system based on the pitch and/or roll information, determine a transformed operating radius using the adjusted coordinates; and compare the load lifted to a rated capacity at the transformed operating radius.

In a comparison phase, the lifted load is characterized by a comparison of the respective detected forces currently acting on the lifting device and the respective detected current geometry of the lifting device.
