Abstract:
A printhead module including at least one row of printhead nozzles, at least one row including at least one displaced row portion, the displacement of the row portion including a component in a direction normal to that of a pagewidth to be printed.
Abstract:
A printhead module including at least one row that comprises a plurality of adjacent sets of n adjacent nozzles, each of the nozzles being configured to expel the ink in response to a fire signal, the printhead being configured to output ink from nozzles at a first and nth position in each set of nozzles, and then each next inward pair of nozzles in each set, until: in the event n is an even number, all of the nozzles in each set has been fired; and in the event n is an odd number, all of the nozzles but a central nozzle in each set have been fired, and then to fire the central nozzle.
Abstract:
A temperature controlling garment comprising a garment made from a layer of material that utilizes moisture management technology to enhance its ability to wick moisture away from the body of the person wearing it, at least one temperature modification pack that changes the temperature of the garment, and at least one receptacle associated with the garment that holds the temperature modification pack in place on the garment. The temperature modification pack comprises an outer casing defining a closed cavity and a polymer mixture contained within the cavity wherein the polymer mixture receives and stores a thermal charge and releases the thermal charge over an extended period of time.
Abstract:
A printhead module comprising at least first and second rows of print nozzles that extend along at least part of a pagewidth to be printed, each nozzle including first circuitry of a first type and second circuitry of a second type, such that, in plan view, the first and second circuitry are generally located at opposite ends of the nozzle, wherein the nozzles are orientated such that the first circuitry of the nozzles of the first row are closer to the first circuitry of the nozzles of the second row than to the second circuitry of the nozzles of the second row.
Abstract:
A method of wirelessly transmitting or receiving a packet of information, and an apparatus to wirelessly transmit or receive a packet of information. In the case of transmitting, the method includes streaming a data element, including at least some of the contents of the packet, over a network link during transmit time. In the case of receiving, the method includes streaming a data element, including at least some of the contents of the received packet, over a network link during receive time. The transmitting or receiving is by a station of a wireless network and the streaming is to or from the station from or to a network device coupled to the station by the network link.
Abstract:
A hose breakaway fitting for a fuel hose and fuel dispenser that comprises of an inner ball-shaped valve section and an outer socket-shaped breakaway section. The valve section is connected to the dispenser's fuel outlet and the breakaway section is connected to one end of the fuel hose. In the event that a vehicle drives away with the fuel hose nozzle still lodged inside its fuel tank, the breakaway section swivels and separates from the valve section that automatically shuts off the flow of fuel to prevent a hazardous situation.
Abstract:
Compounds of the Formula: are useful for the treatment of depression (including but not limited to major depressive disorder, childhood depression and dysthymia), anxiety, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, premenstrual dysphoric disorder (also known as pre-menstrual syndrome), attention deficit disorder (with and without hyperactivity), obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, obesity, eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa, vasomotor flushing, cocaine and alcohol addiction, sexual dysfunction and related illnesses.
Abstract:
A bicycle braking system comprising a bicycle frame having a rear wheel suspension mechanism connected thereto. Rotatably connected to the rear wheel suspension mechanism is the rear wheel axle of the bicycle rear wheel which includes a braking surface. Connected to the rear wheel suspension mechanism is a braking assembly which is selectively engageable to the braking surface of the rear wheel. The braking assembly is configured such that the engagement thereof to the braking surface facilitates the transfer of braking force to and the actuation of the rear wheel suspension mechanism in a manner countering the unweighting thereof normally resulting from the braking of the bicycle.
Abstract:
This invention provides a camera support comprising an arm; a camera mount connected to the arm; a mount configured for attachment to a first supportive base (‘first base mount’), wherein the arm is pivotally connected to the first base mount; a mount configured for attachment to a second supportive base (‘second base mount’); and an arm coupler configured for releasably connecting the arm from the second base mount. Optionally, the first and second base mounts comprise straps, e.g. for mounting to a user's limb such as a forearm. Exemplary embodiments allow the arm to swing smoothly in a downward motion directly into the palm of the user's hand.
Abstract:
An access control device for a closure such as a frame mounted door having a latch bolt. The device has a electric strike in a housing, the electric strike having a cavity cooperable with the latch bolt. A proximity reader is integrated into the electric strike housing and, when installed in the door frame, is located in a secure position at least partially shielded by the electric strike. The antenna for the proximity reader may be integrated into the electric strike housing or may be remotely installed in the frame or other convenient location proximate the reader.
