摘要: A fuel dispensing system comprising a fuel tank adapted to contain a quantity of fuel. A fuel dispenser is in fluid communication with the fuel tank via piping. A pump operative to transfer fuel from the fuel tank to the fuel dispenser is also provided. The fuel dispensing system further comprises a corrosion detection assembly operative to identify presence of a corrosive substance in the fuel. The corrosion detection assembly includes at least one corrosion sensor positioned to be in contact with fuel vapor in the fuel dispensing system, the corrosion sensor producing a detector signal indicating presence of the corrosive substance. The corrosion sensor according to this aspect has a printed circuit multilayer structure in which at least one sensing element is positioned on an exposed surface of the multilayer structure and at least one reference element is positioned on an inner surface of the multilayer structure to be unexposed to the fuel vapor. Electronics in electrical communication with the corrosion sensor are operative to interpret the detector signal and produce an output if the corrosive substance is present.

A rotor is arranged between the inlet section and the outlet section. The rotor is designed for a rotational movement in the event of a fluid flow between the inlet section and the outlet section. At least one indicator element is arranged on the rotor. The flow measuring device further comprises a measuring element, which is adapted to detect a movement of the indicator element. The indicator element comprises a magnetic material. The testing device is designed to set the rotor in rotational motion, preferably without contact. The invention further relates to a method for the functional testing of a flow measuring device.

The control system can determine a current amount of product, a projected amount of product necessary to complete a field operation and a refill amount of product from the current amount and the projected amount, then transmit the refill amount to the tender. The control system can further determine whether a position of the equipment relative to the tender is within a threshold, and whether an intake coupler of the equipment is connected to a supply coupler of the tender, and can control valve(s) to open and close channel(s) for loading fluid into the storage tank.

The system can include a sensor member configured to couple with a receptacle and sense a material level within the receptacle, such as via a sight glass of the receptacle. The system can include a controller in operable communication with the sensor member and configured to instantiate the shutoff of material flow from a material dispensing system if a particular material level is detected by the sensor member. The system can include an intermediate member configured to relay communications between the sensor member and the controller. The intermediate member can be coupled to a fluid line and can further act as a holster for the sensor member, such as by facilitating the coupling of the sensor member to the intermediate member and/or the fluid line.

The difference calculation circuit is configured to calculate a difference between a predetermined value and the value of the parameter received from the vehicle. The filling speed calculation circuit is configured to calculate a filling speed of the hydrogen gas depending on the difference. The accumulator is configured to accumulate hydrogen gas. The filling machine is configured to fill the tank with the hydrogen gas from the accumulator at the calculated filling speed. A hydrogen gas filling method includes the operations noted above.

摘要: A fuel nozzle receptacle for use with auxiliary fuel tanks is disclosed. A fuel nozzle is received in a receptacle or boot in a nozzle-down orientation that defines a secure storage for the nozzle. The receptacle includes a drain port on the lower end of the receptacle and a drain tube is attached to the drain port. A valve is plumbed into the receptacle. When residual fuel has accumulated in the receptacle, the end of the drain tube is fed into an appropriate holding vessel and the valve is opened to allow the residual fuel to drain from the receptacle into the holding vessel.

摘要: A system for delivering a fluid to a fluid consuming asset having a fluid tank is disclosed. An inlet of a manifold is fluidically coupled to a storage tank that contains the fluid to be delivered. A first distal end of a fluid transporting mechanism is fluidically coupled to an outlet of the manifold. A second distal end of the fluid transporting mechanism is fluidically coupled to the fluid tank. A primary valve is fluidically coupled to the fluid transporting mechanism and restricts fluid flow to the fluid tank when fluid level in the fluid tank reaches a first fluid level threshold. A secondary valve is fluidically coupled to the fluid transporting mechanism and restricts fluid flow to the fluid tank when fluid level in the fluid tank reaches a second fluid level threshold. The first fluid level threshold is lower than the second fluid level threshold.
