    Abstract: Mechanisms for cross-carrier scheduling from a first cell to a second cell in a wireless networking scheme are provided. In one aspect, a method includes receiving, from a base station (BS), a first configuration for scheduling in a first cell having a first subcarrier spacing (SCS), wherein the first configuration is associated with a first search space in the first cell. The method further includes receiving, from the BS, a second configuration for scheduling in the first cell, wherein the second configuration is associated with a second search space in a second cell, and wherein the second cell is associated with a different second SCS. The method further includes determining a number of blind detections (BDs) based on at least one of the first SCS or the second SCS, and monitoring, based on the number of BDs, for downlink control information (DCI) in the first and second search spaces.

    Abstract: In operation, the UE in the cell (SpCell/SCell) may be configured to operate with beam group specific BFRs, cell-level BFRs, or combinations of them under a beam failure configuration that is determined according to various rules. A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) and a UE is disclosed. The method includes determining a beam failure configuration for a serving cell, the beam failure configuration including at least one of a beam failure parameter of a beam group or a beam failure parameter of a cell; and detecting, in the serving cell based at least in part on the beam failure configuration, a beam failure recovery (BFR) based at least in part on the beam failure configuration. The beam failure configuration is determined based on various rules that control the operation of the BFR.

    Abstract: The apparatus receives a PUCCH resource configuration associated with a PUCCH resource. The PUCCH resource configuration indicates at least one of a PUCCH resource repetition configuration or a PUCCH resource inter-slot frequency hopping configuration for the PUCCH resource that is independent of PUCCH formats. In addition, the apparatus transmits a PUCCH in the PUCCH resource based on the at least one of the PUCCH resource repetition configuration or the PUCCH resource inter-slot frequency hopping configuration configured in the PUCCH resource configuration. The received PUCCH resource configuration may override a PUCCH format configuration. The apparatus may receive a DCI indicating the PUCCH resource and/or a MAC-CE associated with the PUCCH resource configuration, and may transmit the PUCCH based on the received DCI/MAC-CE.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to methods and apparatus for encoding repetitions of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH). In some aspects, the disclosed methods or techniques include first determining that a first number of REs of a first PUCCH repetition used for UCI transmission is different than a second number of REs of a second PUCCH repetition used for the UCI transmission. Based on the determination, the UE performs one or more actions to provide a same mother polar code length for generating coded bits for each of the first and second PUCCH repetitions. The UE performs polar code encoding of information bits of the UCI for the first PUCCH repetition and the second PUCCH repetition based on the same mother polar code length. The UE transmits the first and the second PUCCH repetitions including the respective polar-encoded UCI.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for handling a reception when another scheduled transmission is canceled. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may receive a message from a base station scheduling a first reception for the UE on first resources. The UE may receive a first indicator scheduling a first transmission from the UE on second resources that at least partially overlap with the first resources. The UE may receive a second indicator cancelling the first transmission in a region that partially or fully overlaps the second resources. The UE may determine whether to receive the first reception on the first resources. The UE may transmit an acknowledgment indicating a reception status of the first reception in response to determining to receive the first reception. The base station may determine whether the acknowledgment indicates a reception status of the first reception.

    Abstract: Aspects relate to implementing a non-dropping rule for mini-slot based repetition of downlink channel data or control. In one example, cancelled repetition may be identified, non-cancelled remaining repetitions may be received, and acknowledgment feedback based on reception results may be generated. In another example, a plurality of time domain resource allocation (TDRA) candidate occasions may be identified where each occasion occurs within a different respective one of a plurality of mini-slots, each mini-slot carrying a different respective one of a plurality of downlink channel repetitions. A TDRA table may be maintained. The TDRA table may include TDRA entries such as location information of the plurality of TDRA candidate occasions associated with the plurality of downlink channel repetitions. The TDRA table may be maintained when at least one of the plurality of downlink channel repetitions is not decoded. A wireless communication device may refrain from dropping non-decoded downlink channel repetitions.
