    Abstract: A base station may configure a user equipment (UE) with a subset of reference signal (RS) configurations among a set of RS configurations, and transmit a plurality of RSs based on the subset of RS configurations. The RS may be a demodulation RS (DMRS). The plurality of RSs may be configured to span each of the plurality of resource elements (REs) in the active bandwidth part (BWP). The UE may receive the plurality of RSs based on the subset of RS configurations and perform a spur detection based on the plurality of RSs received based on the subset of RS configurations. Each RS configuration of the set of RS configurations may be associated with at least one of the subset of RS configurations that is associated with the plurality of RSs spanning each of the plurality of REs in the active BWP.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques described herein provide for a user equipment (UE) with a Modulated Retro Reflector (MRR) to support full duplex Optical Wireless Communications. To achieve full duplex communication, the UE and a network entity may use compatible modulation schemes for downlink communications and uplink communications. The UE and network entity may negotiate and agree upon compatible the uplink and downlink modulation schemes. The UE may receive a downlink OWC transmission using the downlink modulation scheme and transmit an uplink OWC transmission via modulating the downlink transmission in accordance with the uplink modulation scheme.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for transmitting data signaling via a first set of subcarriers (e.g., data subcarriers) at a same transmit power as PTRS transmissions via a second set of subcarriers (e.g., PTRS subcarriers) via a first transmission layer. Additionally, the described techniques provide for transmitting data signaling via the first set of subcarriers and the second set of subcarriers via a second transmission layer. That is, a wireless device may transmit data signaling via the second transmission layer at subcarriers used for PTRS transmissions via the first transmission layer while maintaining an average energy across the first transmission layer and the second transmission layer. In some examples, a receiving device may estimate the phase noise error for each transmission layer using one or more PTRS transmissions or using signaling from each transmission layer.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for equalization domain selection at a wireless device. A wireless device may be configured to support a selection between time domain equalization and frequency domain equalization for receiving RF signals, which may be performed in accordance with detected channel conditions. For example, if a wireless device detects conditions associated with a relatively dispersive channel, the wireless device may select a frequency domain equalization and, if the wireless device detects conditions associated with a relatively flat channel, the wireless device may select a time domain equalization. In some implementations, performing a time domain equalization may include changing a sampling rate into a symbol rate, such as performing a resampling using a Farrow resampler. Such techniques may include a wireless device selecting an equalization scheme associated with a relatively lowest power consumption for detected channel conditions.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may monitor for a set of synchronization signals that includes a first subset of synchronization signals allocated according to a first time-frequency pattern and a second subset of synchronization signals allocated according to a second time-frequency pattern different than the first time-frequency pattern. The first subset of synchronization signals and the second subset of synchronization signals are monitored during a first time interval. The UE may receive one or more synchronization signals of the set of synchronization signals based on the monitoring. The UE may establish a connection with a network entity based on receiving the one or more synchronization signals. The UE may receive an indication of the second time-frequency pattern from one or more synchronization signals of the first subset of synchronization signals.
