Abstract: A display device whose aspect ratio can be changed is provided. The display device includes a plurality of display units and a plurality of driver circuit units. The plurality of display units each include a light-emitting portion and a connection region. The plurality of driver circuit units each include a driver circuit portion and a connection region. The connection regions of the adjacent units overlap with each other and one shaft passes through the connection regions. The adjacent units are electrically connected to each other with the one shaft. With such a structure, an angle between the adjacent units electrically connected to each other with one shaft can be changed, which enables the aspect ratio of the display device to be changed.

Abstract: A flexible display device is manufactured with high yield. A display device having high resistance to repeated bending is provided. The display device is manufactured by forming a separation layer over a support substrate; forming, over the separation layer, an inorganic insulating layer including a first portion and a second portion; forming a display element over the inorganic insulating layer to be overlapped with the first portion; forming a connection electrode over the inorganic insulating layer to be overlapped with the second portion; sealing the display element; separating the support substrate and the inorganic insulating layer using the separation layer; attaching a substrate to the inorganic insulating layer to be overlapped with the first portion; and etching the second portion using the substrate as a mask to expose the connection electrode.

Abstract: An anomaly detection system for a secondary battery which detects the remaining capacity of the secondary battery on an electric vehicle, cautions against the secondary battery with anomalous characteristics, stops using the secondary battery, changes the secondary battery, or changes charging conditions of the secondary battery is provided. The anomaly detection system is provided; the system compares a value obtained by estimating internal resistance or SOC of a secondary battery based on the measured value of a current or a voltage of the secondary battery with the use of a nonlinear Kalman filter and a value input to an anomaly detection system (network) of AI to predict a change in the internal resistance; the system regards a case where the difference is large as an anomaly; and the system detects an anomaly.

Abstract: A light-emitting element, a bonding layer, and a frame-like partition are formed over a substrate. The partition is provided to surround the bonding layer and the light-emitting element, with a gap left between the partition and the bonding layer. A pair of substrates overlap with each other under a reduced-pressure atmosphere and then exposed to an air atmosphere or a pressurized atmosphere, whereby the reduced-pressure state of a space surrounded by the pair of substrates and the partition is maintained and atmospheric pressure is applied to the pair of substrates. Alternatively, a light-emitting element and a bonding layer are formed over a substrate. A pair of substrates overlap with each other, and then, pressure is applied to the bonding layer with the use of a member having a projection before or at the same time as curing of the bonding layer.

Abstract: A highly reliable light-emitting device is provided. A yield in a manufacturing process of a light-emitting device is increased. A light-emitting element and a bonding layer are formed over a substrate. The light-emitting element is sealed by overlapping a pair of substrates and curing the bonding layer. Then, while the cured bonding layer is heated, pressure is applied to at least a portion of the non-light-emitting portion with a member having a projection.
