    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to: a communication technique for converging an IoT technology and a 5G communication system for supporting a higher data transfer rate beyond a 4G system; and a system therefor. The present disclosure can be applied to an intelligent service (for example, a smart home, a smart building, a smart city, a smart car or connected car, health care, digital education, retail business, security and safety-related service, etc.) on the basis of a 5G communication technology and an IoT-related technology. The present invention relates to a method for transmitting uplink control information (UCI) by a terminal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising: receiving physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) configuration information from a base station; and transmitting, to the base station, UCI in a PUCCH to which PUCCH format 1 has been applied on the basis of the PUCCH configuration information, wherein the PUCCH configuration information contains spreading code index information, and the spreading code index information is determined on the basis of the length of a spreading code to be applied to symbols through which the UCI is to be transmitted, among symbols through which the PUCCH is to be transmitted.

    Abstract: Provided is an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node for controlling transmit and receive power of a signal in a wireless communication system, the IAB node including: a transceiver; and at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor is configured to: determine a power value or an offset used for down adjustment of maximum transmit power for a backhaul link signal to be received by the IAB node, based on receive power of an access uplink signal from a terminal or maximum transmit power of the terminal; control the transceiver to transmit power adjustment information including the power value or the offset to a parent node of the IAB node or a child node of the IAB node; and control the transceiver to receive, from the parent node or the child node, a backhaul link signal in which the maximum transmit power is down-adjusted based on the power adjustment information.

    Abstract: A communication method and system for converging a 5th generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. The disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for performing, by a user equipment, dual connectivity in a wireless communication system. The method includes receiving, from a base station, a configuration information associated with a dual uplink transmission, the configuration information being associated with an uplink transmission timing for a master cell group (MCG), identifying that capability information transmitted to the base station does not indicate capability for the configuration information for dual uplink transmission, dropping an uplink transmission for a secondary cell group (SCG), in case the uplink transmission for the SCG overlaps with an uplink transmission for the MCG, and transmitting, to the base station, the uplink transmission for the MCG based on the configuration information.
