Abstract: Provided is a power storage device in which charge/discharge capacity is high, charge/discharge can be performed at high speed, and deterioration in battery characteristics due to charge/discharge is small. The power storage device includes a negative electrode including an active material including a plurality of prism-like protrusions. A cross section of each of the plurality of prism-like protrusions, which is perpendicular to the axis of each protrusion, is a polygonal shape or a polygonal shape including a curve, such as a cross shape, an H shape, an L shape, an I shape, a T shape, a U shape, or a Z shape.
