摘要： When a sender sends a transmission message to a receiver by use of a communication appliance such as telephone, portable telephone, facsimile or electronic mail, the transmission massage is temporarily received by a computer-telephony integration (CTI) server. The CTI server makes reference to a user contact table to thereby specify a contact point of the receiver at present and the kind of a communication appliance capable of being used by the receiver which are registered in advance in the user contact table. Then, the CTI server sends the transmission message to the receiver after automatic media conversion in accordance with the communication appliance and reception condition which are allowed for the receiver to use. A reception condition requested by the sender may be reflected in a part of the reception condition of the receiver.

By use of a center side apparatus, a center generates key information of a receiver in association with a subset inclusive of two or more elements of a proper finite set S1 on the basis of a space determined by a subset inclusive of two or more elements of another finite set S2. A sender side apparatus, a sender makes the multi-address transmission of key distribution data W inclusive of data generated corresponding to each element of the finite set S1 and data generated corresponding to a set of plural receivers through a communication network. By use of a receiver side apparatus, a receiver generates common key information between the sender and the receiver from the key distribution data W and the key information of the receiver.

摘要： An information processing system continues communication without affecting the operation of an application when a communication line is disconnected due to a communication error. When the application sends a communication connection request to another system, an MS Manager portion connects the application via a communication line. An MS portion sends a control handle, instead of a communication line handle, to the application. When the application sends data, the MS portion changes the control handle appended to the data to the handle of the actual communication line. When data is received from another system, the MS portion changes the handle of the actual communication line to the control handle and passes the control handle to the application. When the communication line is disconnected due to an error, the MS Manager portion connects the application to the other system via another communication line. The MS portion re-sends data not yet received by the other system if there are any.

摘要： A public key cryptosystem is used for the authentication of a personal station (PS) which subscribes for a plurality of radio communication exchange systems. A public key of PS is registered into a public key DB of a public key management device. A private key is registered into PS. When PS moves into a service area of a certain radio communication exchange system, an exchange in that radio communication exchange system requests the public key management device for a public key of PS and makes a check for authentication of PS based on the public key cryptosystem by use of the received public key. Thereafter, when PS moves into a service area of another radio communication exchange system, an exchange in the other radio communication exchange system similarly requests the public key management device for a public key of PS and receives the same public key. The exchange in the other radio communication exchange system makes a check for authentication of PS based on the public key cryptosystem by use of the received public key. In the case where the authentication between each radio communication exchange system and PS results in success, each radio communication exchange system can determine a peculiar authentication key to inform PS of the peculiar authentication key so that the authentication of PS from that time onward is performed using the peculiar authentication key.

摘要： Data is compressed/encrypted for communication between application programs without addition of any modification to the application programs. In a communication system where a plurality of personal computers are connected to each other using communication lines, a personal computer is provided with a communication program and an application program, the application program uses a command offered by the communication program for transmission and reception of data with another personal computer, a hooking program for discriminating the command related to the data communication issued by the application program is provided and, after the hooking program has compressed or encrypted the data of application program depending on a type of the command, the command is transferred to the communication program.
