摘要： A silver halide color photographic photosensitive material comprising, on a reflective support, at least one yellow-coloring photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one magenta-coloring photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one cyan-coloring photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least one non-photosensitive, non-coloring hydrophilic colloid layer. Reflective density A(&lgr;) at a wavelength &lgr; at an unexposed portion of the material after a color development treatment is 0.08 or less for 450 nm, 0.10 or less for 550 nm, and 0.08 or less for 650 nm. Alternatively, chromaticity at the unexposed portion of the material after the color development treatment satisfies the condition: 91≦L*≦96, 0≦a*≦2.0, −9.0≦b*≦−3.0. Also provided is a process for forming an image using the silver halide color photographic photosensitive material.

摘要： There is disclosed a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material having at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer on a base, which comprises a compound of the formula (1) having a photographically useful group protected: formula (1) V—Ar1—X1—(L1)m1—PUG wherein V is a group that can be converted to a hydroxyl group in the presence of a peroxide in an alkaline solution by a rearrangement reaction, Ar1 is an aryl or heterocyclic group, X1 is a methylene group substituted at a position that allows a photographically useful group to be released upon subjection of the group V to an oxidation action, L1 is a linking group, PUG is a photographically useful group, and m1 is an integer of 0 to 3. There is also disclosed is an image-forming method, which comprises processing the light-sensitive material in the presence of a peroxide. There is also disclosed a novel aromatic-aldehyde compound included in the formula (1).

摘要： There is disclosed a method for forming a color-image, which method comprises 1 containing, in a light-sensitive material, a dye-forming coupler, and a compound or its precursor, that is oxidized by a silver halide, to form an oxidation product thereof, that is coupled with the coupler, to form a dye having an absorption in a visible wavelength region; 2 having a given coating silver amount; and 3 applying a peroxide-containing solution onto the light-sensitive material, by a coating method by droplet-spraying. The method can achieve both "a lowered amount of a waste solution" and "reduction in a change of the processing."

摘要： There is disclosed a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material having at least one photographic constitutional layer coated on a support, wherein at least one of the photographic constitutional layers contains at least one reducing agent for color formation represented by formula (I), at least one coupler for forming a diffusive dye, and at least one mordant. The material is capable of reducing the amount of developer and to be replenished or discharged after processing, and of reducing the occurrence of stain after development during storage of the material. There is also disclosed an image-forming method using the material. ##STR1## wherein C.alpha. represents a carbon atom; Z represents a carbamoyl, acyl, alkoxycarbonyl, or aryloxycarbonyl group; and Q represents a group of atoms to form, together with C.alpha., an unsaturated ring.

摘要： There is disclosed a light-sensitive material comprising, in a hydrophilic colloid provided on a base, a color-developing agent represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group, or a heterocyclic group; X.sup.1, X.sup.3, and X.sup.5 each represent a hydrogen atom, a nitro group, a cyano group, an alkylsulfonyl group, an arylsulfonyl group, an alkylsulfinyl group, an arylsulfinyl group, a sulfamoyl group, a carbamoyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an aryloxycarbonyl group, an acyl group, a trifluoromethyl group, or a heterocyclic group; and X.sup.2 and X.sup.4 each represent a hydrogen atom, a nitro group, a cyano group, an alkylsulfonyl group, an arylsulfonyl group, an alkylsulfinyl group, an arylsulfinyl group, a sulfamoyl group, a carbamoyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an aryloxycarbonyl group, an acyl group, a trifluoromethyl group, a halogen atom, an acyloxy group, an acylthio group, or a heterocyclic group; with the proviso that the sum of the Hammett .sigma.p values of X.sup.1, X.sup.3, and X.sup.5 and the Hammett .sigma.m values of X.sup.2 and X.sup.4 is 1.50 or more but 3.80 or below. There is also disclosed a novel color-developing agent that can be built in. By using the color-developing agent, the light-sensitive material can attain a rapid and simple formation of an image.
