摘要： The present invention relates to a thermal donor comprising a dye mixture and a urea light-stabilizing compound, wherein the light-stabilizing compound is represented by structure I: wherein: R1, R2 and R3 represent a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, alkenyl group, aralkyl group, aryl group or heterocyclic group, provided that at least one of R1, R2, and/or R3 is a hydrogen atom; R4-R8 represent a hydrogen atom, hydroxyl group, alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, alkenyl group, aralkyl group, aryl group, heterocyclic group, aryloxy group, or alkoxy group; and R3 forms a heterocyclic ring with either R4 or R8, and an imaging system comprising a donor sheet having a layer containing a dye and an image receiving sheet having a dye receiving layer, wherein either the donor sheet or the image receiving sheet comprises a dye mixture and a urea light-stabilizing compound of structure I.

摘要： A photosensitive recording medium has a structure wherein, on a light-transmitting base material, a photosensitive layer containing color image-forming photosensitive microcapsules having as materials encapsulated therein a colorant and a photosensitive material is formed and, on the photosensitive layer, an image-receiving layer is formed. The image-receiving layer has a function to cover up the photosensitive microcapsules in the fresh photosensitive recording method and, upon release of the encapsulated materials from the photosensitive microcapsules, a function to absorb the encapsulated material to form an image. The photosensitive recording medium enables formation of full-color images on the photosensitive recording medium itself, and can achieve a low running cost and also be used even in small-sized image-forming apparatus.

摘要： There are described color-providing compounds having at least two cyclic 1,3-sulfur-nitrogen moieties and one complete dye or dye intermediate. The color-providing compound is stable in the photographic processing composition but capable of undergoing cleavage in the presence of an imagewise distribution of silver ions and/or soluble silver complex made available as a function of development to liberate a complete dye or dye intermediate in an imagewise distribution corresponding to that of the silver ion and/or the soluble silver complex. The color-providing compounds are useful as image-forming materials in color photographic, photothermographic, thermographic, and other processes.

摘要： A unique method/system for simultaneously creating and transferring a contrasting pattern of intelligence on and from a composite ablation-transfer imaging medium to a receptor element in contiguous registration therewith is improvedly radiation sensitive and versatile, is kinetically rapid and not dependent on a sensitized ablative topcoat, and is well adopted for such applications as, e.g., color proofing and printing, the security coding of various documents and the production of masks for the graphic arts and printed circuit industries; the composite ablation-transfer imaging medium, per se, comprises a support substrate (i), at least one intermediate "dynamic release layer" (ii) essentially coextensive therewith and an imaging radiation-ablative carrier topcoat (iii) also essentially coextensive therewith, said imaging radiation-ablative carrier topcoat (iii) including an imaging amount of a contrast imaging material contained therein, and said at least one dynamic release layer (ii) absorbing such imaging radiation at a rate sufficient to effect the imagewise ablation mass transfer of at least said carrier topcoat (iii).

摘要： An aqueous-developable photographic color diffusion transfer element is disclosed where this element comprises one and only one dimensionally stable support and one or more layers comprising radiation sensitive silver halide, thermal solvent for facilitating the thermal diffusion of dyes through a hydrophilic binder, a methine-dye releasing coupler, and hydrophilic binder, wherein said dye is heat diffusible in said binder and thermal solvent, and wherein said methine-dye releasing coupler is of the structure (I)Cp--L--M (I)whereCp is a coupler radical substituted in the coupling position with a divalent linking group, L;M is a methine-dye radical exhibiting selective absorption in the visible spectrum; and where the --L--M group couples off upon reaction of said coupler radical with the oxidation product of a primary amine developing agent, and where said methine-dye radical M is released from said --L--M group subsequent to the coupling off of said --L--M group.Also disclosed in this invention is a diffusion transfer process for forming a color photographic image comprising the steps of:exposing said element to actinic radiation; processing said element by immersing said element in an external aqueous bath containing color developer of the primary amine type;washing said element;drying said element to remove the imbibed water; andheating said element to effect dye diffusion transfer to an image receiving layer.

摘要： There are disclosed dye-providing compounds comprising color coupler dyes substituted on the phenylene diamine portion with one or two cyclic 1,3-sulfur-nitrogen groups. The dye-providing compounds are capable of releasing the coupler dye upon cleavage in the presence of silver ions or a soluble silver complex. The dye-providing compounds are useful as image-forming materials in color thermographic, photothermographic and other photographic processes.
