摘要: Paired testing techniques in a digital medium environment are described. A testing system receives data that describes user interactions, e.g., with digital content or other items. The data is organized by the testing system as pairs of user exposures to the different item. Filtering is then performed based on these pairs by the testing system to remove “tied” pairs. Tied pair are pairs of user interactions that result in the same output for binary data (e.g., converted or did not convert) or are within a defined threshold amount for continuous non-binary data. The filtered pair data is then tested, e.g., until criteria of a stopping rule are met as part of sequential hypothesis testing. The testing, for instance, may be used to evaluate which item of digital marketing content exhibits a greater effect, if any, on conversion and control subsequent deployment of this digital marketing content as a result.

摘要: Font replacement based on visual similarity is described. In one or more embodiments, a font descriptor includes multiple font features derived from a visual appearance of a font by a font visual similarity model. The font visual similarity model can be trained using a machine learning system that recognizes similarity between visual appearances of two different fonts. A source computing device embeds a font descriptor in a document, which is transmitted to a destination computing device. The destination compares the embedded font descriptor to font descriptors corresponding to local fonts. Based on distances between the embedded and the local font descriptors, at least one matching font descriptor is determined. The local font corresponding to the matching font descriptor is deemed similar to the original font. The destination computing device controls presentations of the document using the similar local font. Computation of font descriptors can be outsourced to a remote location.

摘要: The disclosure describes systems and methods of selecting colors to points in a digital three-dimensional (3D) model representing a scanned object, based on points and color images associated with the 3D model. Certain embodiments involve selecting from the images a patch for each point in the 3D model, and determining a quality of the patches. The selected patches are analyzed to determine an overall score, representing aggregated quality of the patches and an aggregated smoothness indicating variation between patches selected for neighboring points. In some examples, multiple sets of selected patches are analyzed and scored, and the scores are compared to determine a representative patch set that optimizes the quality and the smoothness. Colors are assigned to the points of the digital model based on the representative set of patches.

摘要: Geotag data embedded in a photograph is converted to a multilevel hierarchical place name tag, which is a new data structure. Higher hierarchy levels correspond to larger geographical regions. Lower hierarchy levels correspond to smaller geographical regions. The geotag data is used to locate the photograph on a map. A cluster of nearby photographs is defined and represented by a consolidated pin. The identification and quantity of clustered photographs depends on the relative locations of the photographs and the map zoom level. A consolidated pin label is defined based on which hierarchy levels, if any, have a common place name tags. In some cases the consolidated pin label includes only place name tags that are shared amongst all clustered photographs. In other cases the consolidated pin label includes a short list of mutually exclusive place name tags. The consolidated pin label is displayed on the map near the consolidated pin.
