Abstract: An exemplary geographic playlist system includes a plurality of mobile devices with global positioning systems that provide geographic location information of the mobile device to a geographic location playlist device. The geographic location playlist device has a database of geographic playlist information that includes at least a unique identifier for each one of a plurality of media content events and at least one associated geographic location for each of the plurality of media content events. The geographic location playlist device determines a current geographic location of the mobile device, compares the geographic location of the mobile device with the geographic locations residing in the database, and generates user geographic playlist information that includes the identifier of media content events that has an associated geographic location that matches with the determined geographic location of the mobile device. A geographic playlist is then presented to the user of the mobile device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including medium-encoded computer program products, for dynamic rerouting of uniform resource identifiers having different syntaxes. A method includes a server receiving from a computing device a request that includes an initial uniform resource identifier (URI) that includes a product identifier. The request can be generated by the user scanning a product tag. Based on the identifier, the server finds two or more routing policy entries associated with the product. Each policy entry can include a regular expression that specifies syntax for parsing the initial URI and at least one variable. The server eliminates any routing policy having a context specification that does not match the request's context information and any routing policy entries having a regular expression that does not match the initial URI. The server composes a target URI based on a remaining routing policy entry and redirects the computing device to the target URI.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide a mapping application that provides a variety of UI elements for allowing a user to specify a location (e.g., for viewing or serving as route destinations). In some embodiments, these location-input UI elements appear in succession on a sequence of pages, according to a hierarchy that has the UI elements that require less user interaction appear on earlier pages in the sequence than the UI elements that require more user interaction. In some embodiments, the location-input UI elements that successively appear in the mapping application include (1) selectable predicted-destination notifications, (2) a list of selectable predicted destinations, (3) a selectable voice-based search affordance, and (4) a keyboard. In some of these embodiments, these UI elements appear successively on the following sequence of pages: (1) a default page for presenting the predicted-destination notifications, (2) a destination page for presenting the list of predicted destinations, (3) a search page for receiving voice-based search requests, and (4) a keyboard page for receiving character input.

Abstract: A system for presenting properties includes: a server, coupled to client devices via the internet, the server including: a unification module, that periodically accesses data sources for listings, where the data sources include on-market sources and off-market sources, and that retrieves the listings from the sources, converts the listings to a common format, and stores the listings in the common format, and that detects deficiencies in the listings that cannot be resolved by accessing public data sources; and an intelligence module, that receives a request from the unification module for data that can resolve the deficiencies, and that accesses an external entities database to select external entities that can provide the data, and that automatically generates requests to the external entities to provide the data, and that automatically receives the data to enable the unification module to update a parcel record in a parcel database associated with the deficiencies.

Abstract: Example systems, devices, media, and methods are described for presenting a virtual experience using the display of an eyewear device in augmented reality. A content delivery application implements and controls the detecting of beacons broadcast from beacon transmitters deployed at fixed locations and determining the current eyewear location based on the detected beacons. The method includes retrieving content and presenting a virtual experience based on the retrieved content, the beacon data, and a user profile. The virtual experience includes playing audio messages, presenting text on the display, playing video segments on the display, and combinations thereof. In addition to wireless detection of beacons, the method includes scanning and decoding a beacon activation code positioned near the beacon transmitter to access a beacon.

Abstract: An anchor-based collaborative filtering system receives a training dataset including user-item interactions each identifying a user and an item that the user has positively interacted with. The system defines a vector space and distributes the items of the training dataset within the vector based on a determined similarity of the items. The system further defines a set of taste anchors that are each associated in memory with a subgroup of the items in a same neighborhood of the vector space. To make a recommendation to an individual user, the system identifies an anchor-based representation for the individual user that includes a subset of the defined taste anchors that best represents the types of items that the user has favorably interacted with in the past. The taste anchors included in the identified anchor-based representation for the individual user are used to make recommendations to the user in the future.

Abstract: Described herein are a system and methods for generating a record of objects, as well as respective positions for those objects, with respect to a user. In some embodiments, a user may use a user device to scan an area that includes one or more objects. The one or more objects may be identified from image information obtained from the user device. Positional information for each of the one or more objects may be determined from depth information obtained from a depth sensor installed upon the user device. In some embodiments, the one or more objects may be mapped to object models stored in an object model database. The image information displayed on the user device may be augmented so that it depicts the object models associated with the one or more objects instead of the actual objects.

The method also includes receiving one or more search results in response to the search query, where the one or more search results include content identified based on a predicted destination of the mobile computing device. An interface identifying the one or more search results is displayed at the mobile computing device.
