摘要： A method for preventing co-channel operation with a radar system includes the steps of setting a state of a first communication channel to active, connecting to a first wireless access point on the first communication channel, passively scanning at least a second communication channel for communication from a second wireless access point, setting a state of the second channel to active if frames are received on the second channel, determining whether an elapsed time since frames were received on at least one of the first channel and the second channel has exceed a predefined value, and in response to the predefined value being exceeded for at least one of the first channel and the second channel, setting the state of a corresponding one of the first channel and the second channel to passive.

摘要： Disclosed are methods for coordinating advertising among at least two devices currently being used by the same user. A server receives information about what advertising is sent to a first user device. Based on that information, the server creates a “context directive” that specifies how to appropriately direct advertising to a second user device. The context directive is sent to a device that manages an advertising campaign for the second device. The context directive can be based on advertising policy rules set by campaign managers for the first and second user devices. The policy rules may be based on demographic information associated with the user of the second device. In some embodiments, a server collects information on advertisements sent to the various user devices, correlates that information, and produces a report. Advertising managers use this report to gauge the effectiveness of their campaigns across devices.

A next step includes using the information to obtain service from the last known available communication system. For example, a user could use timing information to backtrack their steps or use location information to obtain service.

摘要： A method for providing user access to telephony operations in a multi operating environment having memory resources nearly depleted that include determining whether a predetermined first memory threshold of a computing environment has been reached and displaying a user interface corresponding to memory usage; and determining whether a predetermined second memory threshold, greater than the first, of the computing environment has been reached. Restricting computing functionality and allowing user access for telephony operations, corresponding to a mobile device, when the second memory threshold is reached is included as well. Also included is maintaining the computing restriction until the memory usage returns below the second memory threshold.
