    Abstract: A method for a driver circuit configured to drive a display panel includes steps of: outputting a plurality of control signals according to a first control timing scheme to control a multiplexing circuit comprising a plurality of switches disposed in the display panel in a first operation mode; and outputting the plurality of control signals according to a second control timing scheme to control the multiplexing circuit in a second operation mode. Wherein, the first control timing scheme comprises a pre-charge period in which the plurality of switches of the multiplexing circuit are turned on, and the second control timing scheme comprises no pre-charge period.

    Abstract: A motion estimation method for a video processor includes steps of: calculating frame difference between a current input frame and a previous input frame; comparing the frame difference and a threshold to generate a comparison result; if the comparison result indicates the frame difference less than the threshold, determining whether a first block of the current input frame is a mixed block according to a block difference that indicates a difference between the first block and a block of the previous input frame at the same position; generating at least one temporal motion vector candidate for the first block; modifying the temporal motion vector candidate according to a current position difference value of video part in the current input frame when the first block is determined as the mixed block; and determining a motion vector for the first block from multiple motion vector candidates including the temporal motion vector candidate.

    Abstract: A readout integrated circuit configured to read out sensing signals from an optical sensing panel is provided. The optical sensing panel includes a sensor array for fingerprint sensing. The readout integrated circuit includes a plurality of input terminals, a first discharging circuit and a control circuit. The plurality of input terminals are configured to be coupled to a plurality of output terminals of the optical sensing panel. The first discharging circuit is coupled to one of the plurality of input terminals. The first discharging circuit is configured to discharge one of the plurality of output terminals of the optical sensing panel by a first current during a readout period. The readout integrated circuit reads out a voltage of the output terminal as a sensing signal. The control circuit is coupled to the first discharging circuit. The control circuit is configured to output at least one control signal to control an operating period of the first discharging circuit.

    Abstract: A display device including a plurality of sub-pixel arrays is provided. Each of sub-pixel arrays includes a plurality of first sub-pixels, at least one second sub-pixel and at least one third sub-pixel. The first sub-pixels have a first color and form a plurality of vertexes of a virtual quadrilateral. There is not any other first sub-pixels having the first color located in the virtual quadrilateral. The second sub-pixel has a second color different from the first color and is located in the virtual quadrilateral. The third sub-pixel has a third color different from the first color and the second color and is located in the virtual quadrilateral.

    Abstract: A touch integrated display device includes a substrate, at one metal layer, a touch sensor and trace layer, and a shielding layer. The substrate includes an active area and a fan out area neighbouring to the active area. The metal layer is disposed over the substrate in the active area, extended to the fan out area and includes a plurality of source lines and a plurality of gate lines. The touch sensor and trace layer is disposed over the metal layer in the active area and extended to the fan out area. The shielding layer is at least disposed at an overlap region of the fan out area where the metal layer and the touch sensor and trace layer are overlapped from a top view to shield electromagnetic interference between the metal layer and the touch sensor and trace layer.

    Abstract: A pulse width modulation (PWM) driver and an operation method thereof are provided. The PWM driver includes a PWM generating circuit and multiple driving channels. The PWM generating circuit generates multiple PWM signals. The driving channels drive multiple light emitting elements of a light emitting element array. Each of the driving channels includes a PWM selection circuit. The PWM selection circuits are coupled to the PWM generating circuit to receive the PWM signals. Each of the PWM selection circuits selects a PWM signal from the PWM signals according to corresponding sub-pixel data. The selected PWM signal is output to at least one corresponding light emitting element among the light emitting elements.

    Abstract: A display driver for driving a display device including a pixel array is provided. The display driver includes a plurality of driving channels. The driving channels is configured to output driving signals in a pulse width modulation manner to drive the pixel array to illuminate in a first frame period which is being divided into a plurality of subframe periods. A first driving channel of the plurality of driving channels outputs a first driving signal in a first subframe period combination. A second driving channel of the plurality of driving channels outputs a second driving signal in a second subframe period combination different than the first subframe period combination. Each of the first subframe period combination and the second subframe period combination comprises at least one subframe period of the first frame period.
