摘要: A source driver and a driving system for driving an LED panel, and an LED display system are provided. The driving system includes: a plurality of source drivers, for respectively supplying driving currents to channels of different portions on the LED panel, and each source driver includes: a plurality of driving circuits, which are in one-to-one correspondence with the plurality of channels on the LED panel, and are connected to a same current control line, each driving circuit being configured to supply a driving current to a corresponding channel, wherein, the supplied driving current is associated with a voltage on the current control line which the driving circuit is connected with. When one or more driving circuits switch between a non-driving state and a driving state, the driving current being supplied by the driving circuit(s) being in the driving state in the plurality of source drivers is compensated.

摘要: A backlight driving device and an operating method thereof are provided to drive multiple backlight zones of a backlight panel. The backlight driving device includes an interface circuit and a driving circuit. The interface circuit receives main backlight data corresponding to a first backlight zone from a former stage device. The driving circuit drives the first backlight zone according to a main current level in a display refresh period of a backlight frame period, does not drive the first backlight zone in a demotion blur period which is prior to the display refresh period, and drives the first backlight zone according to a compensation current level in a vertical blanking period which succeeds the display refresh period. The driving circuit determines the main current level according to the main backlight data, and the compensation current level is lower than the main current level.

摘要: A driving device and a driving method of a display panel are provided. The driving device includes a current source and a control circuit. The current source makes a driving current flow through a light-emitting element path of a sub-pixel circuit of the display panel. During a display line period, the driving current has a normal current amount, and the control circuit controls a first switch in the light-emitting element path to adjust a duty cycle of the driving current in the light-emitting element path. During a sensing period, the driving current has a sensing current amount less than the normal current amount, the control circuit turns on the first switch, and the control circuit checks a voltage in the light-emitting element path to determine whether a light-emitting element in the light-emitting element path is open (or whether the light-emitting element is provided in the light-emitting element path).
