Abstract: A mechanically lined pipe including a host pipe having an inner surface which is lined with a metallic liner, the metallic liner having an inner surface which is lined with a polymer liner which presses the metallic liner against the inner surface of the host pipe, as well as to methods of reeling and unreeling the mechanically lined pipe. A method of making a mechanically lined pipe having an internal polymer liner, the mechanically lined pipe including a host pipe having an inner surface which is lined with a metallic liner, the method including the steps of: (a) providing a mechanically lined pipe having an internal diameter, (b) providing a polymer liner having an outer diameter which is greater than the internal diameter of the mechanically liner pipe, (c) reducing the outer diameter of the polymer liner such that it is less than the internal diameter of the mechanically liner pipe, (d) inserting the polymer liner into the mechanically lined pipe, and (e) allowing the polymer liner to expand such that it presses the metallic liner against the inner surface of the host pipe.

Abstract: The present application relates to a method for pressurizing the inner flow space of an underwater flexible pipe intended for transporting hydrocarbons, comprising the following steps: a) providing a flexible pipe comprising a reinforcing layer made up of a short-pitch winding of at least one metal wire with noncontiguous turns around a thermoplastic polymer sheath defining an inner space, then b) filling the inner space of the flexible pipe with an oil, then c) increasing the inner pressure Pi of the flexible pipe to at least 10 MPa, the inner pressure being exerted by said oil, then d′) maintaining the inner pressure Pi of the flexible pipe at a pressure of at least 10 MPa for a time D of at least one minute, characterized in that said oil has a kinematic viscosity at 40° C., measured according to the ASTM D445 standard, of more than 10 mm2/s. This method makes it possible to reduce, or even prevent, the appearance of cavitation and crazing on the polymer sheath.

Abstract: The method includes the introduction of a feed flow into a first flask, the dynamic; expansion of the gaseous flow issuing from the flask in a turbine, then its introduction into a first purification column. It comprises the production at the head of the first column of a purified gas and the recovery at the bottom of the first column of a liquefied bottom gas, which is introduced, after expansion, into a second column for elimination of the C5+ hydrocarbons. The purified head natural gas issuing from the first column is heated in a first heat exchanger by thermal exchange with a feed gas. The method includes the compression of the gaseous head flow of the second column in a compressor before its introduction into a second separator flask.
