摘要： A locking device for a tank having a spout and a cap attached to the spout, the device including a main body having a first and second hinging portion. The first and second hinging portions are hingedly connected with each other and have corresponding mating surfaces surrounding a depression whereby when the mating surfaces are in contact the depressions form a cavity. The cavity completely encompasses the cap and a portion of the spout including a split ring that is firmly engaging the spout. The split ring being firmly attached to the spout and within the cavity prevents a thief from pulling up on the main body to frictionally engage and twist the cap off by engaging the inside edge of an inwardly extending flange of the main body while the main body is being rotated. The cavity is also tall enough to prevent a thief from pushing down to frictionally engage the cap with the main body. A lock securely holds the first and second hinging portions in a closed position.

摘要： The invention consists of a screw cap assembly including a manually operable handle piece rotatable in both directions, a cylindrical case mechanically coupled with the handle piece for unitary rotation therewith, a key-operable cylinder lock mounted in the cylindrical case and capable of rotating only partially and independently therefrom when key-operated from outside, and a screw plug proper operably connected with the handle piece through the cylindrical case. The plug can be rotated in both screw-advancing and screw-retracting directions when the cylinder lock is key-operated to its unlocked position but only in the screw-advancing direction when the lock is in its locked position.

摘要： A closure cover consisting of an inner cover member having a substantially cup-shape capable of engaging with the aperture to be closed, the cover member including a sealing flange adapted to co-operate with the edge of the opening, an overlapping outer cap member rotatably mounted on the circumference of the edge, which cap member has a centrally located, firmly seated hollow support member for a cylinder lock, the lock being rotatably mounted therein, the cap member being axially supported by a radially displaceable bolt, movement of said bolt being effected by an eccentric, whereby the cover is coupled to the inner cover component, and provided with a sleeve-shaped surrounding component with base closure at the bottom for sealing against the exterior, for a freely rotatably outer cap secured by a key when the inner cover component is firmly tightened on the socket opening wherein an inner cover member has a first cup-shaped member having a radially directed edge flange including a revertive free end portion and has further a cup-shaped member including a base portion mounted therein, said further cup-shaped member having a radially outwardly directed edge flange locatable between the two portions of the flange of the first cup member, whereby the two cup members are firmly interconnected, are rotatable within the outer cap and are sealed to the exterior, and a cylinder lock centrally rotatably mounted within the outer cap which is key-actuated, the cylinder lock including radially displaceable coupling bolt which engages between ribs distributed at equally spaced intervals around the wall surface of the further cup-shaped component, which ribs project in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the component adapted to the size and shape of the bolt.

The securing element rotatable with the rotatable body and serving to render the body fixed in relation to said plate, is provided with an elastically deformable arm resiliently removable from the axis of the plug under the action of the said lock, while its free end, when the arm has undergone no deformation, is disengaged from said teeth, although it engages them when the arm has undergone deformation.

摘要： A lockable closure cap has a displaceable catch projection. A centrally located lock cylinder is supported in a cylindrical socket located within the cap. The cylindrical socket has an eccentric collar on which a locking ring carrying the catch projection is supported, and the cylindrical socket is rotatable with the lock cylinder to displace the locking ring via its eccentric collar. A sealing ring is supported on the upper edge of the outer socket for providing a liquid-tight seal while allowing automatic pressure compensation.

摘要： A locking gas cap for a threaded filler neck having a sealing lip extending peripherally about its axis, the cap comprising a closure member threaded to engage and close the filler neck, a gasket on the closure member for engaging and sealing against the lip, an outer shell providing a hand grip secured to the closure member for rotation thereon, a key-operated lock and at least one locking member movable by the lock connected to the shell for rotation therewith. A race is disposed for rotation in the shell, and a driving connection is provided between the race and the closure member which is torque limited in the direction which advances the closure member on the filler neck and positive in the opposite direction, the locking member being movable into and out of engagement with the race selectively to provide a driving connection between the shell and the race. The preferred embodiment includes a frictional driving connection between the race and the shell in the direction which advances the closure member on the filler neck even when the locking member is out of engagement with the race.

摘要： A limited torque cap is provided with a construction wherein a cam ring is located concentrically within a plurality of at least three radial movable jaws, normally biased inwardly and arranged to provide a driving connection with the cam ring until a predetermined level of torque is applied to the ring-jaw connection. A further construction is provided for effecting axial movement of the cam ring relative to the jaw members after a predetermined torque is achieved, whereby to prevent re-coupling of the cam ring and jaws and effectively "locking" the cap against further tightening to its connection and against removal. An "unlocking" feature permits selective restoration of the ring-jaw connection.
