    摘要: A hydraulic braking pressure control apparatus provided with a modulator for controlling the supply of control hydraulic pressure to a wheel brake of the vehicle, wherein a partition is provided between a first cylinder portion and a second cylinder portion which are formed in a casing, a first piston adapted to divide the first cylinder portion into an input hydraulic chamber on the partition side and a control chamber on the opposite side is secured to one end of a piston rod extending through the partition slidably and oil-tightly, and a second piston adapted to define an output hydraulic chamber on the partition side within the second cylinder portion is mounted on the other end of the piston rod for axial relative movement. The partition is provided with a valve mechanism capable of disconnecting communication between the input and output hydraulic chambers. The second piston is biased in a direction toward the partition, and by relative movement of the second piston with respect to the piston rod, the interior of the output hydraulic chamber is prevented from reaching an excessive negative pressure level during an anti-lock operation. The apparatus can function as a proportioning reducing valve by forming the first piston with a smaller diameter than the second piston.

    摘要: A brake pressure regulator for an hydraulic vehicle braking system. A first inlet chamber (14) and an outlet chamber (20) for a first brake circuit (HzI-RzI) are defined by piston surfaces of different sizes of a stepped piston (30) which controls a valve (40) disposed in a connection between these two chambers (14, 20). The pressure in a second inlet chamber (24) adapted to be connected to a second brake circuit (HzII-RzII) acts on an annular control piston (50) which is acted upon in opposite direction by a spring (60). The control piston (50) surrounds the stepped piston (30) without contacting the same and is sealed radially inwardly against a plug (16) which is inserted in the housing (10) and which in turn surrounds the stepped piston (30) in sealing fashion. When as switching pressure in both brake circuits (HzI-RzI, HzII-RzII) is surpassed, the stepped piston (30), aided by the control piston (50), adopts a position at which the valve (40) closes. Subsequently, the stepped piston ( 30) sealed by only two sealings (32 and 38) reciprocates, against little frictional resistance, between positions in which alternatingly it opens and closes the valve (40), thereby causing a pressure rise in rear wheel brake cylinders (RzI) in circuit at a reduced ratio in comparison with the pressure rise in front wheel brake cylinders (RzII).

A single spring urges a single plate which abuts at each end of the plungers and urges the plungers in the direction to open the valve seats, a pin is fixed to the abutting plate at the center thereof and has a shoulder formed by an annular notch therearound, and a hole is provided in the casing in the center between the chambers, the hole receiving the pin with a clearance which permits an inclination of the abutting plate which is caused by a normal difference of strokes between the plungers when the plungers are operating properly and which will not permit an inclination of the abutting plate which is caused by a stroke of the operative plunger when the other plunger is inoperative.
