The cart has a handle having a linkage that is coupled to the top ends of each of the first and second extendable members. One or more bands may be coupled to the connecting point of the first or second member and to a securing point located at any point between the ends of a member so as to secure the cargo in a position against the first and second members.

摘要： The invention relates to a pallet truck comprising a lifting device, which is mounted on the axle of two wheels, and having a supporting frame, which is mounted on two rollers, provided with two bearers and is displaceably connected to the lifting device. The lifting device has a lifting pump mounted on a console which is placed on a support that is, in turn, mounted on the axle extending between both wheels. A rod is mounted on the lifting pump, and the lifting pump has a piston rod whose head projects upwardly out of the housing of the lifting pump. A roller is mounted at the rear end of each bearer, and the bearers are connected to one another at the front end via a crossbar. A holding frame having a socket is provided on the front end of the bearers and is mounted in an articulated manner on the head of the piston rod. A two-armed linkage is mounted on both sides of the console. The front arms of this linkage are connected to the console and the rear rod of the linkage is connected to the allocated roller each of which being connected in a manner that permits them to pivot. According to the invention, the pallet truck can be disassembled into two equally heavy parts, and the disassembled parts can be reassembled to form the pallet truck.

摘要： A stroller wheel suspension mechanism has a generally rigid carrier with a top mounting section connectable to a stroller frame and a downward facing surface. The carrier also has a depending spring section that extends downward from the top mounting section adjacent an end of the downward facing surface and that has a generally vertically oriented surface. The carrier also has a bottom spring section that extends from the depending spring section and that has an upward facing surface spaced from the downward facing surface. The depending spring section and the bottom spring section are resiliently deflectable relative to the top mounting section. A damper region is formed adjacent the downward facing surface, the generally vertically oriented surface, and the upward facing surface of the carrier. A wheel mount is provided on the bottom spring section. The wheel mount is spaced from the depending spring section on a free end of the bottom spring section. A solid body damper of a resilient, flexible material is positioned within the damper region and connected to the downward facing, generally vertically oriented, and upward facing surfaces of the carrier.

It transports injured persons or cargo over long, rough terrain and it can broken down into a carrying position, by hand or by back. The cart has optional removable clamps for clamping a conventional transportable carrier, such as a stretcher or stokes-type rescue carrier bed, thereto. The objects being carried can be held by clamps, by fasteners, or through the use of insertions with longitudinally extending channels. An optional pivotable kickstand and/or tie rods can stabilize the cart in a position of rest. It is collapsible, so that it can be disassembled and carried, and then reassembled at another destination along a wilderness journey.

摘要： An extension handle apparatus is provided for a wheeled chair which includes handle support tubes for supporting one or more wheeled-chair handles. The extension handle apparatus includes an extension support portion and an extension handle portion connected to the extension support portion. A pair of clamping plates are provided, wherein each clamping plate includes an extension-support reception region and a wheeled-chair-handle-support-tube reception region. Clamping fasteners are connected between the clamping plates, and a retention assembly is connected between the clamping plates for retaining the clamping plates in opposite positions with respect to each other. The wheeled-chair handles are a fixed distance from the wheeled chair. By using retrofitted extension handle apparatuses of the invention attached to the handle support tubes on the wheeled chair, the effective distance of extension handle portions from the wheeled chair can be adjusted as desired.
