摘要: The present disclosure is directed to improved vertical farming using autonomous systems and methods for growing edible plants, using improved stacking and shelving units configured to allow for gravity-based irrigation, gravity-based loading and unloading, along with a system for autonomous rotation, incorporating novel plant-growing pallets, while being photographed and recorded by camera systems incorporating three dimensional/multispectral cameras, with the images and data recorded automatically sent to a database for processing and for gauging plant health, pest and/or disease issues, and plant life cycle. The present disclosure is also directed to novel harvesting methods, novel modular lighting, novel light intensity management systems, real time vision analysis that allows for the dynamic adjustment and optimization of the plant growing environment, and a novel rack structure system that allows for simplified building and enlarging of vertical farming rack systems.

摘要: A logistic system for managing and displacing materials comprises a first series of shelves (23) and a second series of shelves (24); the first series of shelves (23) is arranged in front of the second series of shelves (24), and a central aisle (25) is obtained between the shelves; each shelf is made up of a first pair of uprights (21, 22) facing towards the central aisle and a second pair of uprights (26, 27) facing towards the opposite side. The uprights of each shelf are retained by structural cross members. At the lower portion thereof, the uprights have a recess (35) which enables a carriage (20) equipped with toothed wheels (31) to pass the shelves during the sliding on the ground. The carriage is provided with a lifting system (36), activated by motor organs located inside the carriage (20).

摘要: A mass indoor production of vegetation system maintains a train in a stationary position on a rail system inside an indoor enclosure during a growing period of vegetation. The train has a plurality of plant-pots interconnected by a plurality of push-pull bars. Each of the plant-pots contains at least one plant. The train of the plant-pots may be moved on the rail system in either direction by pushing or pulling the plurality of push-pull bars. The plurality of plant-pots may be pulled out of the indoor enclosure during a time of harvesting the plant.

The controller includes one or more processors, one or more memory modules, and machine readable instructions stored in the one or more memory modules that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the controller to: identify a plant on the one or more carts, determine a temperature recipe for the identified plant, and control a temperature of the air output from the one or more vents based on the temperature recipe for the identified plant.

Each robot typically includes a chassis, a container lift mechanism moveable with respect to the robot chassis for transporting at least one container, a drive subsystem for maneuvering the chassis, a boundary sensing subsystem, a container detection subsystem, and a controller. The controller is responsive to the boundary sensing subsystem and the container detection subsystem and is configured to control the drive subsystem to follow a boundary once intercepted until a container is detected and turn until another container is detected. The controller then controls the container lift mechanism to place a transported container proximate the second detected container.
