    摘要: The positioning compartments of a bottle crate are divided in a transverse direction by transverse dividing elements which include supporting projections with hollows halfway up, and dividing tongues which project downwards in an elastically deformable manner below them. Arranged opposite the supporting projections, on an outer wall, are supporting fingers. If the bottle crate is placed on one of the outer walls while containing bottles, each lower bottle tilts about a support formed by the supporting fingers, the bottom of the bottle being displaced in the process against the respective outer wall, and each upper bottle is likewise tilted, about a support formed by the hollows, into a position in which it is secured against sliding out of the respective positioning compartment, this tilting movement involving deformation of the respective dividing tongue. Each dividing tongue is located between the respective bottles at all times and prevents them from banging against one another.

    摘要: This invention relates to a bottle hamper the sidewall of which has a removal opening for bottles and on the bottom of which there is a framework of vertical partitions to support the lower parts of the bottles sidewise. One problem with such hampers has been the locking of bottles in the hamper during transport and different movable bars have therefore been mounted in the removal opening. A bottle hamper can be manufactured without these separate movable parts if the partitions perpendicular to the plane of the removal opening have supporting devices projecting on both sides, which devices support the bottles in the direction of the partitions and are secured to the partitions so that they can be displaced in a transversal direction as regards the partitions into the adjacent compartments when bottles are removed from the bottle hamper.

    摘要: A crate 1 for bottles with cylindrical body portions has double-skinned corner portions 7 which define with portions 13 of an internal partitioning grid 5 corner compartments 6a for bottles. The inner skin 12 of the corner portion is formed with vertical ribs 14 adjacent the grid portions 13. These ribs, which are interconnected with the outer skin 8 of the corner portion to form hollow columns 14a therewith, strength the corner portions and allow the spacing of the skins thereof to be reduced so that the size of the compartment can be increased for given external crate dimensions, and as the ribs are located adjacent the partitioning portions 13 they occupy space which would otherwise be free and do not reduce the effective size of the corner compartments.

    摘要: A plastic bottle case for holding two rows of bottles has two inner walls which extend between opposite ends of the case and slope upwardly and inwardly at an acute angle to one another. Lower edges of the inner walls are spaced inwardly from the respective sides of the case a distance less than the diameter of bottles to be received in the case. Openings having horizontal projections conforming to the cross sectional shape of the bottles are provided in the inner walls to receive the bottles so as to hold them erect and keep them from bumping one another. The bottles are supported by ledges at the bottoms of the openings in the inner walls, the bottom of the case being otherwise open. This construction permits a saving in weight and hence in the amount of plastic material required for the bottle case. A further saving of material is achieved by making the sides and ends of the case of vertically spaced horizontal bands extending between angular columns at the corners of the case.

    摘要: A rectangular full depth case for bottled beverages of unitary molded plastic construction has windows in both side panels and end panels to permit identification of the contents of the case. Interior vertical strengthening ribs extending inwardly from the side panels at spaced intervals run from the bottom of the case to just below an upper stacking rim for supporting the weight of additional cases stacked on top in criss-cross fashion for palletized loading. Strengthening column members of hollow substantially triangular cross section at the junctions of the side panels and the end panels provide both vertical strength and resistance to racking, while presenting a clean design. Criss-cross partitions extend upwardly from the bottom of the case for less than half its height to create separate bottle-receiving compartments.

    摘要: A plastic case for transportation of loose bottles and also multi-bottle packs has low partitions dividing the case into individual bottle compartments. Side walls of the case have a height at least equal to the height of the partitions plus the height of the bottles. Packs sit on top of the partitions and hence above the bottom of the case. Individual bottles are received in the individual compartments and rest on the bottom. The partitions are high enough to keep the bottles from bumping one another. Spacers extend in from the side walls and engage packs resting on the upper edges of the partitions to keep the packs from slifting laterally. Some partitions may be higher than the rest to separate the packs from one another. The bottom may be above the lower edges of the side walls.
