摘要： A shipping container convertible into a display configuration at a point of sale comprises a top wall, a bottom wall, side walls and end walls all of which are foldably joined to one another to form an interior space to receive product having a predetermined height. Each of the respective side walls includes a respective pair of spaced apart slots formed therein. Each of the end walls includes a respective minor top flap being foldably joined thereof. The respective minor top flaps include a pair of locking tabs each of which is engaged with the corresponding slots. A headspace is formed within the interior space of the container so as to compensate for the height of the products when the container is flipped on its side for displaybility at the point of sale and permits a user to remove product from various layers of containers stacked upon one another.

摘要： The packing box includes a plurality of side wall parts, a bottom wall part, a housing part, an outer lid part, a tuck, an extending part, an inner flap, a slit, and an obstructive part. The obstructive part is folded along the side edge that crosses the other side wall part of the inner flap. Once the tuck is inserted, the extending part restricts the release of the outer lid part by being restored to the original state in the direction that crosses the extending direction of the slit. The obstructive part is placed in the course that reaches from the clearance between the top edge of the side wall part, the top edge crossing the other side wall part, and the inner flap to the extending part, whereby obstructing the approach from the outside of the packing box to the extending part.

The package has a container (2) for receiving smoking articles and a lid (3) hingedly attached to the container to enclose a space for smoking articles defined by the container when the lid is closed. In one aspect, a line of weakening (29) is defined along a juncture between the lid and the container prior to initial opening of the lid, and a tear element (90) is configured to act on the line of weakening to separate the lid from the container along the juncture to allow the lid to hinge relative to the pack. The present application also relates to a blank for a package for smoking articles and a blank for an inner frame of a package for smoking articles.

摘要： A paperboard carton doubles as a shipping container for articles such as beverage cans and a cooler for containing ice to cool the articles when the carton is opened. The top portion of the carton is breached by removing an opening strip defined by zipper rules. Once breached, the tops and side panels of the carton are opened up to form an upwardly open chimney or skirt into which ice can be placed to cool the contents of the carton. Gussets formed in the lower corners of the cartons insure that water from melting ice does not leak prematurely from the carton.
