摘要： A beverage dispensing system for providing a beverage from a plurality of beverage concentrate sources. The beverage dispensing system includes a nozzle, a modular diluent valve for supplying diluent to the nozzle, a plurality of modular volumetric concentrate valves each in fluid communication with one of the beverage concentrate sources, and an electronic control board. The electronic control board determines the diluent flow rate through the modular diluent valve and instructs one of the modular volumetric concentrate valves to supply a predetermined volume of a beverage concentrate to the nozzle based upon the diluent flow rate.

摘要： A water dispensing station includes a source of water a water temperature adjustment system connected to the source of water and adapted to adjust water obtained from the source of water, a temperature sensor positioned to sense water temperature of water in the temperature adjusting system, and a dispensing system connected to the water temperature adjusting system and adapted to selectively dispense water. A controller has processing and memory means and is connected to the water temperature adjusting system and the temperature sensor. The controller is adapted to receive and store water temperature information from the temperature sensor. The station preferably includes a display screen to display information from the controller and input means for the user to input information to the controller. The station can further include a modem so that the controller can communicate with a remote service center. Preferably, the modem is in communication with the controller via transceivers and the modem automatically receives calls from the remote service center. The controller can automatically alert the remote service center when there is a need for service such as filter replacement, component replacement, or bottled water delivery or can alert the remote service center that the user desires to be contacted by the remote service center. The remote service center can check status of the station and send message to the user such as replacement filters are on the way or bottled water will be delivered on a certain date.

摘要： A liquor inventorying method for determining the amount of liquor dispensed during a shift in a restaurant or bar and therefore discouraging theft or overpouring of the liquor is disclosed. The method is implemented with the aid of a weigh scale and a computer program and includes the steps of separating all of the liquor bottles in the bar or restaurant into a plurality of categories based on similar characteristics between the liquor bottles such as liquor costs; determining an approximate average cost of liquor per unit weight in each category; weighing all of the bottles in a category in groups after a shift to determine how much liquor was dispensed from the category; determining the approximate cost of liquor dispensed from all of the liquor bottles within the category, and comparing the approximate total cost of liquor dispensed from the category to the amount of revenue received.

摘要： Apparatus for automatically determining the weight of a plurality of articles, each of the articles having a surface portion with a unique element thereon, comprises a plurality of assemblies and a computer. Each assembly includes a surface for supporting an article, a transducer in operative contact with the supporting surface for producing an output signal indicative of the weight of an article placed on the supporting surface, and a sensor in operative relationship with an article on the supporting surface for producing an output signal indicative of the unique element on the surface portion of the article. A computer receives the transducer output signals and the sensor output signals and, for each article on the supporting surfaces, computes the weight of the article based on the transducer output signal and identifies the article based on the sensor output signal. The apparatus is especially useful as an inventory control system for a bar.
