摘要： Disclosed is the auger in an ice bin mounted in a refrigerator, and the like. The auger in the ice bin is configured to rotate an auger having spiral-shaped transfer blades and to dispose ice in each space between the transfer blades of the auger for transfer. Accordingly, a certain amount of ice can always be discharged without simultaneously discharging a great amount of ice, and a user may select the number of ice, thus to diversity functions of an ice dispenser. In addition, since the auger is made of a flexible material, the ice can be prevented from being crushed during transfer, thereby enhancing the reliability of the ice dispenser.

摘要： Provided is an ice shaver for a beverage dispenser which can charge granular ice in solid form into cups and which can also shave granular ice and charge the shaved ice into cups. Because an opening of an ice charging port is arranged in a position which expose the part of one end surface of the impeller in the direction of the central axis of impeller including the spindle, granular ice can be charged into the ice shaver body while being agitated by the impeller at the ice charging port, and this provides that advantage that the irregularity that clogging with granular ice occurs on the bottom end side of the introduction pipe can be prevented. Also, because the impeller is rotated at a low speed in discharging granular ice from the ice shaver body, it is possible to reduce the discharge speed of the granular ice which is discharged from the ice shaver body and hence it is possible to prevent the scattering of a beverage in discharging granular ice into a cup. Furthermore, when an overload occurs in a motor due to the locking of the impeller caused by the clogging with granular ice etc., the driving of the impeller is stopped. Therefore, the motor and a motor drive section can be protected from damage due to overcurrent and heating and troubles in the equipment can be prevented.

摘要： A refrigerator including a shaved ice dispensing unit, and an ice cube dispensing unit positioned within an ice cube container such that ice cubes, crushed ice, and shaved ice are selectively dispensed to a user. The shaved ice dispensing unit includes a driving motor, a guide barrel having a shaved ice outlet, a plurality of blades disposed at the outlet, a rotational shaft disposed axially within the guide barrel and connected with the driving motor, a compressing wing connected with the rotational shaft above the outlet and extending in a radial direction, and a spiral wing coupled with the rotational shaft at the front of the compressing wing. When the driving motor is driven, the rotational shaft, the spiral wing, and the compressing wing rotate and compress the ice cubes in the ice cube container to produce the shaved ice. The ice cube dispensing unit comprises an ice cube crusher, and an outlet adjusting device to allow the ice cubes to be dispensed or to dispense the crushed ice after producing the crushed ice through the ice cube crusher.
