Abstract:
A method of forming cladding on products comprises: a shotblasting layer is formed on the basal body of products, i.e., a shotblasting layer of fine and uniform granules is formed on the surface of the basal body of products by shotblasting, and plated layers are plated on the shotblasting layer of the basal body of products, i.e. metal plated layers are plated on the shotblasting layer after the shotblasting layer is formed. A cladding structure on products comprises that a shotblasting layer is remained on the basal body of products, and metal plated layers of a predetermined thickness is provided on the shotblasting layer of the basal body of products. A push rod of a caulking gun with the above cladding structure is also included.
Abstract:
A foam chemical dispenser device that includes a dispenser housing having a body portion defining a mixing module reception area, and a mixing module positioner adjustably supported by the dispenser housing between a mixing module hold position and a mixing module access position. Further included is a finger releasable locking device which, when in a locking mode, locks the mixing module positioner in the hold position and when in a release mode provides for positioner adjustment to the access position. Also included is a dispenser having a dispenser housing with a chemical inlet section and a chemical outlet section, and a closure device dimensioned for contact with a mixing module positioned to receive chemical from the chemical outlet section of the dispenser housing, and the closure device being pivotable between a mixing module hold position and a mixing module access position. A method of accessing a mixing module of a dispenser is also featured including releasing a finger release locking device locking a closure device from a mixing module locked in position mode to a mixing module access mode and preferably vice versa.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for on demand chilling and dispensing of product from a commercially available product package is disclosed. The product dispenser includes a product container positioned on a housing that is adapted to receive thermal cooling media. The product dispenser further includes a container cap attachable to a portal of the product container and a first end of a dispense tubing. A second end of the dispense tubing is connectable to a dispensing valve mountable to the housing, thereby regulating delivery. The thermal cooling media resides in the housing, thereby cooling the dispense tubing and its contents. Also provided are provisions for inclusion of a product container as part of the dispenser that can be filled and refilled. Further provisions include the ability to adapt to varying product container portal sizes and varying product container sizes, as commonly seen in commercial product packaging. Methods provided include installation of the product container and operation of the product dispenser.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for reblending sand whereby multiple reblending tanks with a plurality of reblending stations have thin respective outputs joined through a single control system.
Abstract:
The structure of a piston design to be used in a pressurized dispensing container which dispenses product that is loaded at a higher temperature where it is highly flowable but maintained and dispensed at a lower temperature where it is highly viscous. The piston has an annular sidewall with an upper end that maintains a very close tolerance to the can in which it is used. The lower end has a smaller interference fit with the container. Between the upper and lower end is a recess zone that provides a more substantial clearance with the sidewall of the container.
Abstract:
The invention has application to dispensing dessert products from pre-filled containers. The container (11) has an outlet (12A) and a moveable portion (13) which is engageable to reduce the container internal volume and cause product to be extruded from an outlet. The container is located on a support (15) during dispensing and there are means (48-51, 53) for detecting whether the product is extrudable and/or whether dispensing is complete. In addition, there is a detector (35-37) for detecting a container in a discharge position on the support.
Abstract:
The container of the present invention stores viscous substances in a sealed environment and is easily transportable. The contents of the container can be easily extracted completely without any tools or contact with the user. The container is an elongated housing with one or more opening near its ends and with one or more piston with approximately the same profile and dimension as the cross sectional profile of the interior of the elongated housing enclosed in the container that will slide along the length of the elongated housing when urged and extract the contents of the container completely.
Abstract:
An ergonomic handle assembly is provided for dispensers of food, condiments and other extrudable material. The assembly includes a handle having a first portion adapted to be connected to an elongated dispenser and axially aligned with said dispenser at one end thereof. A second portion has a surface adapted to be gripped by the hand of an operator using the dispenser and is aligned at an angle within a range of from about 140 to about 160 degrees with respect to a direction normal to a longitudinal axis of said first portion. This enables said operator to hold the operator's elbow comfortably against the side of said operator when manipulating the dispenser by rotation of the operator's wrist, thereby reducing fatigue of said operator. A dispenser including the ergonomic handle assembly is also provided.
Abstract:
There is herein provided a container for high purity liquid chemicals, which never deteriorates the quality of a liquid content and which is easy to handle. A container for high purity liquid chemicals is characterized in that it is a container obtained by blow molding an inner layer, which consists of a high purity resin comprising at least one member selected from the group consisting of olefinic polymers of ethylene, propylene, butene-1, 4-methyl-pentene-1, hexene-1 or octene-1 and copolymers of ethylene and olefins other than ethylene; an intermediate layer of a solvent-barrier resin, which comprises at least one member selected from the group consisting of polyamides, polyvinyl alcohols, poly(ethylene-co-vinyl alcohols), polyesters and polyphenylene oxides; and an external layer consisting of a light-shielding substance-containing resin composition, that the container has a lowest absorbance for the whole layers, as determined at a wavelength of not more than 400 nm using a spectrophotometer, equal to not less than 2.0; that an absorptivity coefficient as determined at a wavelength of 400 nm or the absorbance at that wavelength for the whole layers of the container divided by the thickness of the layers, is equal to not less than 1.5 mmnull1; and that an absorptivity coefficient as determined at a wavelength of 600 nm is equal to not more than 1.5 mmnull1.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for hydraulically and volumetrically dispensing target fluid. A hydraulic system includes an actuator, a hydraulic coupler that includes substantially incompressible hydraulic liquid, and a container. The container may include a slidable or movable plunger or wall that when moved forces the target fluid out of the container. The actuator includes a motor or driver, such as a step motor, linear actuator, servomotor, pneumatic motor, or other similar device, to drive a plunger or piston of the hydraulic coupler. The coupler includes a conduit, column, shaft or other leak proof assembly that acts as a conduit for the substantially incompressible hydraulic liquid and includes a plunger or piston that is selectively pushed by the incompressible hydraulic liquid, thereby driving a head of the plunger or piston to press against the wall or plunger of the container or syringe that contains the target fluid or against the target fluid, causing the target fluid to be dispensed therefrom. Furthermore, the system may include a controller that is configured to control the target fluid dispensed and to receive input from a user.
