    摘要: A cassette type mold apparatus includes a sub-runner formed on a parting surface of a fixed side matrix or a movable side matrix, a gate provided in a fixed side cassette mold or a movable side cassette mold and configured to inject a molten resin into a cavity space from the sub-runner, and a hot runner provided on the fixed side matrix so that a tip end thereof is aligned with the sub-runner to be perpendicular to the sub-runner and is in parallel with a mold opening and closing direction. In the cassette type mold apparatus, the movable side cassette mold can be stacked on the fixed side cassette mold in a state in which a cavity and a core are aligned and can be integrally loaded in a direction of a side surface of the entire mold.

    摘要: A device for securing and/or releasing injection moulds for plastics injection moulding includes a slide retainer that is located in a receiving mould region, can be pushed into predefined, complementary regions of a corresponding sliding mould region and comprises a roller which is rotatably mounted in a housing and over which the sliding mould region can roll. A spring-loaded pressure piece comprises the housing and a slide retainer spring that presses against the housing, for engaging in an opening in the sliding mould region. The housing has a pre-loading projection in a peripheral region for pre-loading by means of the slide retainer spring. One or more fixing screws run through the housing and is/are screwed into a complementary opening in the receiving mould region. A central lead-through means is provided and each of the one or more fixing screws runs through one through-opening of the lead-through means.

    摘要: A process for producing molded products having portions formed with two separate materials is provided. The process involves forming a first component over a structural core in a first step, and forming a second component that is secured to the first component and the core in a second step. The second component can be formed directly over the first component or can be secured thereto after formation. The first and second components can additionally be formed with indicia thereon, or with recesses within which inserts containing the desired indicia can be positioned. Additionally, the first component can be formed with a ridge disposed on a projection formed on the first component that effectively seals off a portion of the first component when the second component is formed around the core and the first component to ensure the portion of the first component surrounded by the ridge remains visible after formation of the second component.

    摘要: A system and process for injection molding polymer articles is described. The system and process are designed to reduce gate blush. In one embodiment, an injection molding device injects a molten polymer composition into a runner that extends from an injection point to a gate. The gate is positioned adjacent to an opening leading into a mold cavity. In accordance with the present disclosure, the system includes one or more overflow passages that divert flow of the polymer composition so as to temporarily reduce the flow rate and pressure of the polymer composition entering the mold.
