摘要: A foldable container moveable between a stowed configuration and a deployed configuration defining an interior area for holding bulk material is provided. The container includes opposed side panels and a bottom flap extending from a bottom edge of each side panel. A tab member extends from a distal end of each bottom flap and a tab finger extends from each tab member so as to define a hook at a distal end of each bottom flap. The hooks are interconnected so as to hingedly connect the distal ends of the bottom flaps together, thereby causing the bottom flaps to rotate between their respective stowed and deployed configuration positions as the end panels are translated between their respective stowed and deployed configuration positions. Locking tabs extending from distal ends of end flaps extend into the interior area of the container to secure the container in the deployed configuration.

摘要: In one aspect, there is provided a combination for use in readying a cutting cylinder is rotatably mounted to a frame in a box-forming production line. The cutting cylinder has a cylinder reference indicium. The combination includes a transfer member with a transfer member reference indicium thereon, a cutting member that includes a base and a cutting blade, and a connector structure that is configured to releasably mount the cutting member to the transfer member. The cutting member is movable to a selected distance along the first axis from the transfer member reference indicium. The connector structure includes a locking structure positionable in an unlocking position for separating the cutting member and the transfer member, and a locking position to lock the connector structure to the transfer member, so as to hold the cutting member at the selected distance from the transfer member reference indicium.

摘要: The present invention relates to a composite container comprising a bottom film layer and a top film layer at least partially adhered to the bottom film layer. The top film layer is scored to form at least one resealable flap and at least one pull tab which is not adhered to the bottom film layer. The bottom film layer comprises at least one cavity opening. A cardboard layer is adhered on its lower surface to the upper surface of the top film layer, wherein the cardboard layer has at least one cavity opening which is substantially aligned with the scoring of the top film layer resealable flap and the cardboard layer is perforated to define a perimeter of at least one pull tab which is substantially aligned with and adhered, on its underside, to the upper surface of the top film layer pull tab.

摘要: A foldable case and method of making same are disclosed. The foldable case is collapsible between a closed position and an open position without needing to re-fold the sheet of material. The foldable case is made of a sheet of material. The sheet of material has a central portion, opposing first and second portions, and opposing third and fourth portions. First and second portions adjoin a length of respective top and bottom edges of the central portion. Third and fourth portions adjoin a length of respective left and right edges of central portion. A number of folding lines are provided on the sheet of material. The foldable case can be made by folding along the folding lines and adhering first and second portions to the third and fourth portions so as to form a case in the folded configuration.

摘要: A device for inserting a web of printing material into a flat-bed die-cutting and/or embossing machine includes a compensator for converting a continuous movement of the web of printing material into an iterative movement of the web of printing material. A clamping unit clamps the web of printing material, a cutting unit carries out a cross cut through the web of printing material, and an inserting unit transports the web of printing material into the flat-bed die-cutting and/or embossing machine. The device advantageously allows the web of printing material to be automatically clamped, cut and fed to the flat-bed die-cutting and/or embossing machine. As a result, no further stopping of an upstream printing press is required and the amount of waste is reduced. A manufacturing system for producing packages and a method for feeding a web of printing material are also provided.

The spout and the plastic film are heat sealed with each other by the seal head.
