    摘要: The disclosure relates to an orthosis comprising a tubular sleeve having an inlet opening and an outlet opening or sock. The tubular sleeve is preferably formed of a stretchable, textile-based material such that the tubular sleeve as such is radially collapsible when being in a non-worn condition and is circumferentially stretchable to adapt to a shape of a limb of a user when being worn thereon. The orthosis further comprises a circumferentially expandable reinforcement member arranged at the inlet opening and circumscribing at least approximately 135° of the inlet opening. The reinforcement member is resilient and provides a radially outwardly directed force onto the tubular sleeve and thereby retains the inlet opening in an open shape facilitating insertion of the limb through the inlet opening into the orthosis. Also described are kit of parts and the use of the orthosis.

    摘要: The invention relates to a hallux valgus brace, i.e. a brace designed for treatment of non-rigid hallux valgus. The brace comprises a three point lever means for correcting the position of the big toe. According to the invention the complete brace is designed to be located distally of the metatarsal joint. Preferably, the brace comprises a proximal pad pressing on the first phalanx of the big toe, a distal pad pressing on the distal end of the first phalanx of the big toe, and a lever arm pressing on the ball of the foot. The brace can be used during walking and other activities.

The strut comprises a bifurcation zone (9) and two strut branches (2′, 2″) arranged to extend on the outside of the lower leg on each side of the tibia. Thus the present invention provides an orthosis (1) with high resistance against wear and tear, high wear comfort for the patient and an orthosis (1) enabling an almost normal gait.

    摘要: A hyperextension brace with a frame construction has adjustable upper and lower supports as well as adjustable side members. The frame comprises a sub-clavicula support and a pelvic and pubic support connected by side members. The height of the side members and the width of the sub-clavicula support and the pubic support are adjustable by using non-rotational telescopic and lockable connections. The sub-clavicula support may be connected by a turnbuckle screw arrangement to the side members. The frame may be made of composite material, suitably a polymer reinforced by glass fibre and/or carbon fibre. All adjustments may be made without requiring any tools.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a device and a method for testing out a spinal orthose or corset on a patient, whereby the device consists of a frame (2), which is width and height adjustable, a back beam (3), a back plate (16) with a support means (17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 25) belonging thereto and an abdominal plate (26). The device (1) is fixed on the back of the patient by adjusting the frame to the correct height and width, whereafter the back plate is fixed in the correct position by means of the support means. The values measured in such a way are transferred to a corset blank by means of a measurement rod (36) (FIG. 1).
