摘要: An injury treatment system includes a negative pressure source and a dressing pneumatically communicable with the negative pressure source. The dressing includes a negative pressure therapy component configured to expose an anatomical structure to a negative pressure when the negative pressure therapy component is applied to the anatomical structure and in response to operation of the negative pressure source. The dressing also includes an immobilization component coupled to the negative pressure therapy system, wherein the immobilization component is configured to transition from a flexible state to an inflexible state in response to the operation of the negative pressure source.

摘要: The present disclosure can provide a leg brace capable of reducing a pain in a knee while both enhancing its convenience and reducing the burden on an ankle. the leg brace including: a first pushing part that pushes a leg of the wearer outward so that an ankle bone is positioned above a heel bone; a second pushing part that pushes the leg of the wearer inward so that the ankle bone is positioned above the heel bone; a restraint part that restrains a positional relation between the first and the second pushing parts in which they face each other across the leg of the wearer; and a placement part on which a foot of the wearer is placed, the placement part being connected to the first pushing part or the second pushing part.

摘要: An improved syndesmosis reduction device has a wrap of elastic material extending a length L from a first end to a second end with an open window or slot positioned in an intermediate portion of the wrap spaced from the ends. The wrap is configured to achieve a reduction of an injured ankle and is facilitated by the elastic nature of the ankle wrap. The reduction is facilitated by circumferentially wrapping the wrap from a leg to a foot or vice versa in a compressive fashion by securing the first end by wrapping and stretching the wrap to the second end. The window or slot is to permit an incision at the ankle for hardware placement without the need to remove the wrap and without loss of the reduction achieved.

摘要: A kit (1500) for negative pressure and immobilization therapy includes a negative pressure dressing (100) configured to define a sealed volume between a patient's skin and the negative pressure dressing when applied to the patient, a pump (200) configured to be placed in pneumatic communication with the negative pressure dressing and operable to displace air from the sealed volume, and a heat-moldable splint (900). The heat-moldable splint includes a plurality of flexible tubes formed of a first material and coupled together to form a web and a second material positioned in the flexible tubes and having a lower softening or melting point than the first material.

摘要: A modular knee brace assembly includes a brace and a wedge. The brace comprises a sleeve portion comprising a first opening at a first end of the sleeve portion and a second opening at a second end of the sleeve portion, the first opening and the second opening adapted to enable a first portion of a user's body to pass through the sleeve portion and a second portion of the user's body to remain within the sleeve portion and a first mating unit comprising a plurality of discrete attachment points coupled to an outer surface of the sleeve portion. The wedge comprises a second mating unit, wherein the second mating unit is adapted to couple with a set of the plurality of discrete attachment points to support one or more portions of the user's body.

摘要: A stretching platform includes a planar support structure having an upper surface in a substantially horizontal orientation. The planar support structure is configured to support a person lying in a prone position on the planar support structure and facing upward. A hip strap is configured to extend upward from the planar support structure and over hips of the person when the person is lying in the prone position on the planar support structure. A leg lifting mechanism is configured to lift a leg of the person when the person is lying in the prone position on the planar support structure and when hips of the person are secured by the hip strap in a substantially immobile manner relative to the planar support structure. The leg lifting mechanism is configured to apply an upward force to a posterior side of the leg at a location near a foot of the leg.
