摘要： A torsional vibration damper mountable to a rotatable shaft. The torsional vibration damper is a composite structure including a body formed of a polymer, such as a glass-reinforced polyamide, that surrounds an insert formed of a structurally-rigid material, such as a metal. The insert includes one or more support flanges that extend radially outward into the polymer body. When the torsional vibration damper is removed from the rotatable shaft, axial forces applied to the damper are transferred by the support flanges to the insert such that the polymer body remains substantially stress-free. In addition to, or instead of, the support flanges, the insert may include torque-locking structure that locks the polymer annular body with the insert to prevent relative rotation therebetween.

摘要： A combination forklift and truck secured together to allow the forklift to be transported from one site to another by the truck. The truck has a horizontal platform with a back end and has a mounting kit secured underneath the horizontal platform. The mounting kit comprises a mounting frame, a pair of sleeves and a pair of arms slidably received within the sleeves. The arms extend upwardly and outwardly from the back end of the horizontal platform of the truck and terminate in arm ends adapted to engage two hooks secured to the frame of the forklift. When the hooks of the forklift frame are engaged with the arm ends, the forklift is in a raised supported position above the ground.

摘要： An earth mover scraper combination having chain driven elevator drive sprockets for each of two chains which are mounted on plates that include pins extending into the frame of the elevator support. Two jacks are likewise inserted into the frame of the elevator support and can be used to force the pins away from the frame support thereby forcing the sprocket away from the frame support and tensioning the chain. Preferably, the jack is a hydraulic jack that can be operated with a simple grease gun. Metal shims are then placed between the mounting bracket and the frame assembly to maintain the chain tension.

摘要： A device (10) for automatically determining filtration parameters for a sample of a filter aid material includes a measurement tube assembly (14) comprising a generally vertical measurement tube (34) and a septum (40) disposed within the tube for forming a filter cake of a filter aid material, a plurality of actuatable valves (V1-V12) coupled to the inlet (32) and discharge (44) of the measurement tube assembly for controlling water flow into and out of the assembly, a control and processor system (17) including a computer (200) operable to control the valves in accordance with a predetermined cycle to flush a slurry of filter aid into the measurement tube assembly and then cause water to flow under pressure through the measurement tube assembly and through a filter cake formed on the septum, and instrumentation (110, 120, 122, 130, 140) for measuring parameters needed for determining filtration parameters. The computer receives output signals from the instrumentation and calculates filtration parameters such as permeability and wet bulk density.

摘要： A continuous molding machine comprises a rotatable wheel that carries a plurality of fixed dies, each of which is aligned with an axially movable die within a peripheral surface to form pairs of molding dies. A strip of uncured material is movable between each pair of molding dies at a molding station. As the wheel rotates each pair of molding dies through a molding station, the molding dies are closed upon the uncured material to form a molded article. A shoe is fixedly-mounted adjacent the molding station and is slidable with respect to the peripheral surface of the rotating wheel to communicate with passages which lead from the peripheral surface of the rotating wheel to the insides of the molding dies. During die closing, vacuum is applied to the shoe to remove air from the molding dies.
