The methods may comprise: using a machine learning model to identify which frequency of a plurality of possible frequencies that can be used by a communication device for wireless communications is an inferred best frequency based on weather report information and/or predicted weather information; performing operations to select a best frequency from the plurality of possible frequencies using the inferred best frequency and a frequency value selected by a link establishment process of the communication device; and causing the communication device to communicate signals with the best frequency which was selected.

摘要: Reducing harmonics in a radio transmitter can involve using an electronically tunable harmonic filter (ETHF) in a transmit path at the output of an RF power amplifier stage to reduce harmonic signal components in the RF transmit signal. At least one filter characteristic of the ETHF is selectively controlled using one or more RF switch. The one or more RF switches that are used to control the ETHF can include a CMOS-SOI and/or a MEMs type of switch. Various filter characteristics of the ETHF can be controlled including a bandwidth and/or a center frequency of the ETHF.

摘要: An example method comprises receiving, at a first digital device, video data, scanning video content of the video data for visual transitions within the video content between consecutive frames of the video data, each transition indicating significant visual transitions relative to other frames of the video data, timestamping each visual transition and create a first set of temporal video fingerprints, identifying items of metadata to be associated with the video data, identifying a location within the video data using the temporal video fingerprints for the identified items of metadata, generating a metadata index identifying each item of metadata and a location for each item of metadata relative to the video data using at least one of the temporal video fingerprints, and transmitting, at the first digital device, the video data, the first set of temporal video fingerprints, and the metadata index to a different digital device.

摘要: According to the present invention, programs that use signals, such as multi-media signals, received over communication channels from one or more sources are produced in a computing system by executing an application software in one or more servers of the computing system. At least one of the servers has one or more processors that process defined logical entities. A signal used in production of a program is received from a source over a communication channel at a server. An input logical entity having attributes associated with the source of the signal is defined such that the input logical entity is responsive to a user defined predicate comprising a logical expression for accepting or rejecting the signal. Also defined are a stream logical entity that identifies an accepted signal and a routing logical entity that establishes a connection between the stream logical entity and a destination. The accepted signal is routed to the destination based on a routing rule.

摘要: A portable radio may include a radio frequency (RF) transmitter, an RF receiver, and an audio input transducer. A controller may store command messages and speech messages, implement a stand-alone, speech recognition and text-to-speech (TTS) function for the stored command messages and stored speech messages. The controller may also control at least one of an RE transmitter and RF receiver of a remote radio based upon an input command matching one of the stored command messages using the audio input transducer and the stand-alone speech recognition and TTS function, and convert a speech message matching one of the stored speech messages into a text message. The RF transmitter may send the text message to the remote receiver.
