摘要： A furnace blower apparatus has a tubular housing that is connected between a heating furnace and an exhaust flue of the furnace. The housing has an interior bore containing a fan assembly for drawing air through the furnace burner chamber on operation of the fan assembly. The housing includes a panel that is removably mounted to a side wall of the housing. The fan assembly is mounted to an interior surface of the panel, whereby the fan assembly can be removed from the interior of the housing by removing the panel from the housing.

摘要： A blower housing may be used with a climate control furnace or with a water heater and provides cooling of the motor that rotates the blower fan and also provides dilution and cooling of exhaust gases drawn from the furnace or water heater. The housing is constructed with one side that is positioned in a single plane that is easily mounted to a flat surface of the furnace or water heater and can be sealed against the surface. The housing is provided with an interior heat shield that insulates the exterior surface of the housing and with a noise muffler.

摘要： A blower for a furnace is provided with an inlet guide to increase efficiency and pressure output of the blower. The blower includes a blower housing with an inlet opening and an outlet discharge opening. A cylindrical wall is provided around the inlet opening and projects into a hollow interior of the blower housing. A radial wall extends outward form the cylindrical wall toward the discharge outlet opening to prevent recirculation of gases from the outlet to the inlet during operation of the blower.

摘要： A blower for a furnace is provided where the blower has an impeller that is configured to create a primary air flow of combustion air into the blower housing and a secondary air flow of cooling air through the blower motor. The primary air flow of combustion air into the furnace generates hot exhaust gases for a heat exchanger in the furnace. The secondary air flow cools the blower motor. The secondary air flow is mixed with the hot exhaust gases in the blower housing and cools the exhaust gases before being discharged from the blower housing. A control operates the blower for a time period after each combustion cycle to introduce ambient air into the exhaust flue and chimney to ensure the evaporation of any condensate forming from the products of combustion contained in the exhaust. The blower may be a variable or multi-speed motor so that a different motor speed may be used for combustion than for the run time after combustion.
