The compressor impeller is partially enclosed by the housing, as a collection housing (2) on the delivery side, and a cover element (12), on the suction side separated in sections from the compressor impeller by a gap (13). An uncoupling element (15) is arranged, for vibration damping and for at least partial sealing of the housing interior against a surrounding area (16), between the cover element and the collection housing and between a functional component (14) connected at least indirectly to the compressor impeller and/or to the electric motor and the collection housing.

摘要： The described embodiments relate to improving efficiency of a low-profile cooling fan. In one embodiment, an impeller of the cooling fan includes a shroud which covers a central portion of the impeller, thereby allowing a central inlet portion of the blades to have an increased fan blade height when compared to a cooling fan constrained by minimum part tolerances between the fan blades and a portion of the fan housing. In some embodiments, the impeller includes splitter blades that can improve performance of the low-profile cooling fan.

The air intake portion has a bell mouth shape to have a rim portion that defines an opening through which the drawn air is guided to an inside of the impeller. The deflection portion deflects an airflow along the rim portion of the air intake portion toward the side panel.
