摘要: In one aspect, a wireless remote controller for a personal watercraft is provided that includes a watertight housing forming a watertight compartment. The housing includes a through hole extending through the housing from an upper side of the housing to a lower side of the housing. The remote controller includes a throttle interface removably attached to the housing such that the throttle interface is movable between a first position and a second position and at least a portion of the throttle interface positioned within the through hole of the housing. The remote controller further includes a sensor positioned within the watertight compartment of the housing to detect a position of the throttle interface.

摘要: A personal watercraft is disclosed including a flotation portion, a strut extending from the flotation portion, and a motor pod is disposed along the strut with an electric motor operably coupled to a driveshaft. A hydrojet unit is removably attached to the motor pod and includes an inlet portion removably attached to the motor pod and a substantially cylindrical housing. The inlet portion includes a substantially conical motor interface with a shaft through-hole for receiving the driveshaft therein, one or more fins extending outwardly from the conical motor interface, and at least one ring encircling the conical motor interface and connecting to each of the one or more fins for inhibiting objects from passing through the inlet region. The housing defines a fluid flow path to an outlet portion. The hydrojet unit includes an impeller coupled to the driveshaft and a stator disposed within the housing.

摘要: A flexible coupling mechanism may be used to suspend a structural component, such as a propulsion pod, from a support member, such as a strut of a hydrofoil watercraft. The flexible coupling mechanism may include multiple vibration isolating mounts configured to extend through the support member to suspend the structural component. The vibration isolating mounts may include a plurality of elastomeric bushings configured to prevent direct contact between a component rigidly coupled to the support member and a component rigidly coupled to the structural component. The elastomeric bushings may include a tapered outer profile configured to provide a nonlinear force feedback profile in response to rotation of the support member relative to the structural component.

摘要: A watercraft is provided that includes a support platform having a bottom surface. The watercraft includes a hydrofoil disposed on a strut extending from the bottom surface of the support platform. The watercraft includes a propulsion system coupled to the bottom surface of the board such that a thrust generated by the propulsion system moves the board through a body of water. The watercraft includes a position sensor, a speed sensor, and an altitude controller. The position sensor is configured to output position data of the watercraft relative to a surface of water. The speed sensor is configured to output speed data of the watercraft. The altitude controller is configured to adjust the thrust generated by the propulsion system based at least in part on a ride height derived from the position data and a speed derived from the speed data to achieve a target ride height.
