摘要: An air separation apparatus and process, which produces gaseous oxygen and/or nitrogen products at an elevated pressure through internal compression of respective liquid products, are disclosed. Split-core main heat exchangers are employed to warm up product streams generated in an air rectification unit against 1) a main feed air stream in the low-pressure heat exchanger and 2) at least one boosted pressure air stream in the high-pressure exchanger. Because the boosted pressure air stream is at a higher pressure and temperature than the main feed air stream, after separate heat exchange in the split main heat exchangers, the subsidiary waste nitrogen stream exiting the high-pressure heat exchanger is also warmer than the subsidiary waste nitrogen stream exiting the low-pressure heat exchanger. The warmer waste nitrogen stream is fed into the air purification unit for regeneration purposes and the cooler waste nitrogen stream is introduced into the nitrogen water tower to perform cooling duty. The two subsidiary waste nitrogen streams are also connected on the warm side of the main heat exchangers to allow flexible distribution of the flow.

摘要: The invention relates to an absorber column and to the use thereof for separation of unwanted, especially acidic, gas constituents, for example carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide, from a crude synthesis gas by absorption with an absorbent, especially under low load states of the absorber column in relation to the synthesis gas velocity. According to the invention, a defined concentration of carbon dioxide in the clean synthesis gas is established by mixing at least a portion of the absorbent regenerated by flash regeneration with the absorbent regenerated by means of hot regeneration prior to the recycling thereof into the absorber column.

摘要: A process for liquefying a natural gas feed stream including cooling a feed gas stream to obtain a liquefied natural gas stream; introducing the liquefied natural gas stream into a deazotization column to produce a liquefied natural gas stream and a nitrogen-enriched vapor stream; at least partially condensing at least part of the nitrogen-enriched vapor stream to produce a two-phase stream; introducing the two-phase stream into a phase-separating vessel to produce a first liquid stream and a first nitrogen-enriched gas stream; introducing at least part of the nitrogen-enriched gas stream into a distillation column thereby producing a second nitrogen-enriched stream containing less than 1 mol % of methane and a second liquid stream containing less than 10 mol % of nitrogen; wherein at least part of the liquefied natural gas stream is used to cool the at least part of the nitrogen-enriched vapor stream in said heat exchanger.

摘要: A method for the use of a gaseous effluent containing a CO2 gas fraction and a non-CO2 gas fraction, including at a first location: providing liquid nitrogen at a temperature less than −196° C., and causing the gaseous effluent to contact the liquid nitrogen to as to capture at least part of the CO2 present in the CO2 gas fraction as a mixture of CO2 particles and liquid nitrogen. Conveying at least part of the mixture to a second location, and at the second location, bringing the mixture into contact with one or more ingredients of a wet concrete before and/or during and/or after the wet concrete is prepared by blending the ingredients of the wet concrete in a blender, so that the mixture extracts heat from said one or more ingredients of the wet concrete, and CO2 from the mixture partially carbonates Ca-compounds present in the wet concrete.

摘要: A system and method for cooling an oxygen stream by heat exchange with a warming supply nitrogen stream having of a heat exchanger having at least a Zone A and a Zone B, the system having indirect heat exchange between a gaseous oxygen stream, and a high-pressure liquid nitrogen stream split into at least a first portion which passes through a Zone A, and a second portion which passes through a Zone B during a first phase of operation. And a high-pressure liquid nitrogen stream passing through Zone A, thereby producing a high-pressure nitrogen vapor stream, which passes through an expansion turbine, thereby producing an expansion turbine outlet stream which then passes through Zone B, during a second phase of operation, thereby producing a liquid oxygen stream.
