摘要: A method, system, and computer-program product for communicating within a messaging architecture using a structured data object are disclosed. The method includes assembling a dynamic form object and submitting dynamic form information, associated with the dynamic form object, into a messaging session. The assembling includes an assembly operation, which, in turn, includes identifying an input field of an interface of an application, transferring input field information to a messaging system, and generating an element of the dynamic form object. The input field information is associated with the input field, and the generating uses the input field information. Further, the submitting includes transferring a message via the messaging system, the message including the dynamic form information.

摘要: Systems for high-performance, low-latency database log mining applications. A method commences upon receiving a log mining query. The query specifies desired results that correspond to a prior logical state of the database system. A first type of processing entity is invoked to process contents of the redo stream by loading metadata into a data dictionary, and a second type of processing entity is invoked to construct metadata from the redo stream, wherein the constructed metadata pertains only database objects referenced in the query. During the time that the first type of processing entity is processing contents of the redo stream by loading metadata into a data dictionary, a process of a second type serves incoming queries using a subset of entries in the redo stream. When the data dictionary is completed, a switchover point is reached and thenceforth, incoming queries are served using the first type of processing entity.

摘要: A mechanism is provided for detecting and disregarding application specific nodes contained in shared XML documents. The techniques described involve determining one or more application specific nodes within XML documents and performing path expression evaluations of the XML documents as if the nodes are not present. In one embodiment, a mechanism is provided by which a user may specify the criterion that determines which subset of nodes in XML documents are to be ignored from path expression evaluations. A query that specifies a path operation based on a path is evaluated ignoring said identified nodes when evaluating said path operation.
