    摘要: A hose clamp having a clamping band (10) with band sections overlapping in the closed state of the hose clamp, on which hooks (12, 19) are arranged for closing the hose clamp, and with a tightening device (15) arranged in the outer band section for tightening the hose clamp around an object to be clamped. The overlapped inner end of the clamping band (10) is formed as a tongue (11) with a reduced width compared to the clamping band (10) and is received by a tongue channel (45) arranged in the outer band section. The tongue (11) is stamped out of the clamping band (10) and has outwardly projecting side flaps (42) and a bottom part (43) which is arranged between them, formed from the clamping band (10) and rises continuously from the clamping band (10) up to the height of the side flaps (42).

A tool for mounting the tension clamp includes a holding device for holding the buckle (21) along with the band (20) surrounding the object to be fastened, a tensioning device for tensioning the band (20) round the object to be fastened by applying tension to the outer band end portion (23), a locking device (50) for locking the buckle (21) on the band (20), and a severing device for cutting off excessive band length. The locking device (50) has plier jaws (54) adapted to be inserted into lateral windows (25) of the buckle (21) for deforming side edge portions (24) of the other band end portion (23).

    摘要: For producing a welded ring, a band having a length corresponding to the circumference of the ring is bent to form a ring and its two ends are welded together. The band ends to be welded together have an offset in the circumferential direction of the ring, the offset lying in the plane of the band. The welding is performed form both lateral edges of the ring from the outside up to the offset. This avoids an overlapping weld of a welding quality that is different at the centre of the ring from that at the edges.

To make the installation of the clamp on a pipe easier, the clamp is pre-deformed, for example, in the course of production, to such an extent that the clamp surrounds the pipe for which the clamp is intended without play. Because of the elasticity produced in the clamp by this pre-deformation, the clamp still can be moved effortlessly to the installation location on the pipe and yet is retained there in the position of the clamp and in the desired orientation.

    摘要: In a rapid coupling, a pipe nipple engages a through hole of a socket. A first annular groove provided on the pipe nipple serves to catch a locking ring provided in the socket, in order to lock the coupled condition. A sleeve is movable on the pipe nipple, the sleeve having an inner projection to be retained by the first annular groove of the pipe nipple in a pre-assembled condition. When the pipe nipple is inserted into the socket, the sleeve abuts the socket and is then moved along the pipe nipple until the inner projection is caught by a second annular groove if the coupling is properly locked. It the pipe nipple is not moved into the socket to such an extent that the locking ring is caught by the first annular groove, the second annular groove remains visible outside the sleeve to indicate the improper coupling condition.

The tightened condition is locked by toothed portions which mutually engage outside the area of the ear on the side of the ear remote from the outer clamping band end. In the locked tightened condition, the ear is free of forces so that the hose clamp retains its clamping function even if the outward projecting ear is damaged.
