摘要： A weblike package for suction tubes (1) comprising two straight tube parts (1a and 1b) which are joined flexibly by means of a bellows-folded, tubular intermediate part (1c). The package (2) comprises two flexible material webs which are joined to one another by repeated longitudinal and transversal sealing joints (6 and 7) which in pairs jointly form closed spaces (8) wherein suction tubes (1) are arranged. The suction tubes (1) are oriented straight with the free ends (1a' and 1b') of both their straight tube parts (1a and 1b) directed away from one another towards the longitudinal edges (5 and 5') of the material webs. Individual wrapped suction tubes (1) separated from the package are intended to be applied to the outside of a packing container with the longer straight tube part (1a) of the suction tube placed diagonally between opposite corners of the packing container, and with the shorter straight tube part (1a) of the suction tube bent parallel with the upper edge line of the packing container, and to make possible such an application of the wrapped suction tube without causing the surrounding envelope to burst the spaces (8) are provided with portions (8a, 8b and 8c) of mutually differing cross-sectional areas, the space portion (8a) in the region of, and closest to, the bellows-folded intermediate part (1c) having the largest cross-sectional area.

摘要： A method of treating a moving material web that is to be used in the fabrication of aseptic packages includes heating the material web prior to inserting the web into a heated bath of sterilizing agent so that when the web is inserted into the bath, the temperature of the web is at least equal to the temperature of the heated bath. The apparatus for carrying out that method includes a heating arrangement that is connected to a container that contains the heated bath of sterilizing agent. The container is positioned after the heating arrangement in the direction of movement of the material web. The heating arrangement includes a box and nozzles extending inwardly from the inner sides of the box. The nozzles are connected to a source of hot air and are adapted to blow hot air on both sides of the material web for heating the web.

摘要： To provide a suitable filling atmosphere around a produce filling pipe on a packing machine and to make possible a rational, accurate cleaning of the filling pipe of the machine without having to dismantle and disassemble the filling pipe at a normal stoppage of the machine, the filling pipe is surrounded by a permanent tubular casing whose lower end is adapted so that it can be closed for cleaning with the aid of a detachable lid to form a container enclosing the filling pipe. The filling pipe, via a connecting means at the upper end of the casing, can be joined to an outer flow system to allow circulation of a cleansing agent.

摘要： In the manufacture of packing containers by means of folding of laminate in the form of sheets or of a web of the type which comprises a relatively thick carrier layer (2) of paper or cardboard and a gas-tight, thin metal foil (5) the laminate is subjected to stresses which, particularly within folding regions comprising multiple material thicknesses, may be so strong that crack formations occur in the metal foils protecting against gas which are sensitive to tension, thus entailing the risk of the intended gas barrier characteristics of the packing container being impaired or wholly lost. To counteract this risk the packing laminate is provided with a layer (6) of ethylvinyl alcohol laminated between the metal foil (5) and the carrier layer (2) which for one thing is mechanically sufficiently durable to withstand the external stresses during the folding of the laminate, and for another has sufficiently good gas barrier properties to compensate for the loss in gas tightness which thus may arise if the integrity of the metal foil (5) is lost during the manufacture of the container. Preferably the laminate is provided also with a further layer (7) of a material permeable to moisture which is laminated between the ethylvinyl alcohol layer (6) and the carrier layer (2) and which is adapted to let through moisture which from the liquid-filled inside of the container might be able to penetrate into the ethylvinyl alcohol layer (5) through such crack formations in the metal foil (5). As a result the moisture content in the ethylvinyl alcohol layer (6) can be kept at a sufficiently low level so as not to have a negative effect on the gas barrier characteristics of the ethylvinyl alcohol layer (6) which otherwise diminish with increasing moisture content.

To facilitate the pulling off of the tearing strip on opening of the container, the packing material is provided at least within the region of the part of the sealing fin accommodating the strip with a material layer adapted to weaken adherence which is applied between the fibrous layer and the inner plastic coating of the packing material and preferably consists of water glass.
