    摘要: A computer implemented method for managing health-related data captures an image from a display of an exercise machine using a camera, has the images processed to extract the text data from the captured images, and analyzes the text data to identify information relating to extrinsic physical activity performed by a person at the exercise machine. The results are stored in memory and a profile specific to the person is updated. The profile comprises a log of past exercise activity that allows the person to track his or her activity and progress and overall health. The profile can be accessed by the person through a portal such as using a smart phone or a computer program or web browser. The results can be combined with other data to arrive at a health score which can be published through the portal while personal data remains masked from public inspection.

    摘要: A remote microarray analysis system, method and apparatus for use in the remote analysis of a chemical compound microarray supported on a substrate is disclosed. Pixel image data is received from a remote location including image data that depicts (a) a calibration scale associated with the substrate and (b) the microarray. A transformation action of said pixel data corresponding to the calibration scale is determined and the received image data corresponding to at least the microarray is adjusted by applying the transformation action. The adjusted image of the microarray is compared with a database of stored microarray pixel data to extract information from said image.

The wearable device can include a display configured to provide a user interface and a sensor senses information associated with biological features, physiological features and/or physical activity of the user, while the device is being worn. A communications subsystem is provided that is configured to communicate with the remote computing device. The wearable device includes a processing subsystem is provided and configured to process the sensed information to provide processed user information. The processed user information is transmitted via the communication subsystem, to the remote computing device, and health-related information associated with the processed user information is received from the remote computing device. The health-related information is provided, via the user interface, on the display.

The virtual representation of the person receives via the VR/AR environment from the person, the authorization, and the computing device(s) automatically provide, in response to receiving the authorization, the at least one other computing device with access to the secured information. Alternatively, where the at least one other computing device has authorization to access the secured information, the at least one computing device automatically provides the at least one other computing device with access to the secured information.
