Abstract: Apparatus using two telescoping armrest connecting a wheelchair to a walker for safely assisting a patient regaining their ability to walk. Physical therapists use the walker to train patients on walking to build strength, endurance, and balance. The telescoping armrest provide a fixed gap between the wheelchair and walker and keeps the wheelchair close to the patient. The patient can easily sit in the wheelchair, and the presence of the wheelchair minimizes the risk of falling, allows the patient to rest when fatigued, provides a sense of security, and eliminates a need for an assistance to push the wheelchair behind the patient.

Abstract: A strap end manager holds a loose cargo strap end against a tight portion of the strap. The manager fits over an end of a loose strap, and the loose strap is wound around the manager. Top and bottom, right and left wings, fold around the strap and around the tight portion, and secure the wound loose end. The wings may include hook and loop material to retain the wings around the wound loose end. The strap end manager may further be used to facilitate storing cargo straps in the same manner as for holding loose cargo strap ends.

Abstract: An Amphibious Vehicle (AV) is capable of planing with less power than prior similar size amphibious vehicles and using mostly off-the-shelf part. The AV uses an outdrive and propellor instead of a pump, and also include leading rear wheel well flaps which are spring biased forward against the hull bottom for on-road use, and pivot back to fill a gap between the hull and rear tire, reducing drag during in-water use. The combination of the propellor and wheel well flap allows planing with less horse power. An engine faces to the rear and either reversing differentials to reversing carrier and hubs provide correct wheel rotation. A reversing gear box attaches to an engine front and reverses rotation providing correct rotation for an outdrive and propellor.

Abstract: A trap door rodent trap rests on a bucket and including bait for attracting rodents to climb entry ramps reaching up to the trap. Blue colored entries visible to the rodents creates confidence to continue onto the trap. A center trap door opens from the weight of the rodent and the rodent falls into a bucket supporting the trap. Euthanasia of the trapped rodents is delayed to avoid noxious odors preventing trapping additional rodents, and the bucket may contain food and water for sustain the rodents for a period of time before euthanizing.

Abstract: An electrolysis cell and housing provides for simple, toolless cell installation and removal of the electrolysis cell. The electrolysis cell includes an anode and a cathode and requires periodic removal of the electrolysis cell from the housing for cleaning or replacement due to accumulation of deposits on the anode and the cathode. The electrolysis cell includes three push-in fluid connectors and two push-in electrical connections. A filter may be included serially between a water inlet and the electrolysis cell and may include two push-in fluid connectors. A housing rear cover may hold the electrolysis cell and filter in place in the housing and may be removed and reattached to access the electrolysis cell without tools.

Abstract: A Magnetic Gear Modulator (MGM) of a Concentric Magnetic Gear (CMG) is manufactured by injection molding a modulator cage over angularly spaced apart MGM pole pieces made of a magnetically conducting material. The pole pieces are initially connected by a support ring, or held by a fixture. The modulator cage is preferably a thermally conductive strengthening fiber filled plastic, a carbon fiber plastic, a carbon fiber filled plastic material, a glass material, or a high performance composite plastic molding material. After molding, the outer and/or inner portions of the molding material, and support ring if present, are machined away preferably exposing both inner and outer faces of the pole pieces embedded in the modulator cage. An MGM made using injection molding over a connected support ring and pole pieces reduces cost, and a carbon fiber plastic modulator cage increases strength.

Abstract: A urinary device is attachable to a toilet and assists males in directing a flow of urine into the toilet. The device is installed between a toilet seat and tank and pivots to a vertical or near vertical position against the tank when not in use. A telescoping portion extends for tall or short males. The device may be installed on any standard toilet in a few minutes. A bypass may be included to direct urine into a drain avoiding the toilet bowl and the need to flush the toilet. The urinary device reduces or eliminates germs and odors on or around the toilet and is easy to clean using water and a household cleaner.

Abstract: A method for sealing an economizer perimeter gap to reduce an uncontrolled excess outdoor airflow by applying a sealing material over or into the economizer perimeter gap between the economizer frame and a Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning (HVAC) system cabinet comprising: locating the economizer perimeter gap between the economizer frame and the HVAC system cabinet and applying a sealing material over or into the economizer perimeter gap. The sealing material is selected from the group consisting of: an adhesive tape sealant, an adhesive sealant, a mastic sealant, a caulking material, and a weatherstripping. The method comprises: disconnecting an electrical power to the HVAC system, removing an economizer hood, locating and cleaning the metal services on both sides of the gap between the economizer frame and the HVAC cabinet, applying the sealing material over or into the gap, reinstalling the economizer hood, and reconnecting the electrical power to the HVAC system.

Abstract: A hose or cable reel winder provides a handle for winding hose or cable onto a stationary reel and facilitates an orderly winding onto the reel. A guide is attached to an arm and the arm is free to rotate with respect to the stationary reel. The handle rotates in the guide allowing a user to wind hose or cable onto the stationary reel, and slides into and out of the guide to facilitate the orderly winding of the hose or cable onto the reel. Abstract: A lipless tubular oil seal assembly uses a tubular type of seal. The new seals create only enough pressure against the casing to provide an adequate seal under most conditions and the small amount of oil that would leak by on the roughest well casing surfaces acts as a lubricant. The new seal has no lip so it cannot turn under and get stuck in the well casing like a cup seal, even under the roughest conditions.
