摘要： A heating apparatus is disclosed having a first region containing a heat source and a second region that is separate from and thermally coupled with the first region via an interface element. The heating apparatus also includes a convection deflector disposed within the interior of the first region to direct convective heat towards the interface element. The deflector can have a geometric shaped cross-section with a first side oriented towards the heat source and an opposing second side oriented away from the heat source. The first and second sides are adapted to reflect radiant and convective heat.

摘要： The present invention provides modified multifunctional thiol-ene monomers wherein one or more thiols are reacted with a Michael addition reactive double bond compound. The present invention further discloses photocurable thiol-ene formulations comprising thiol-ene monomers including the modified multifunctional thiols. The present invention further discloses photocurable thiol-ene formulations comprising thiol-ene monomers and Michael addition reactive double bond molecules and a Michael catalyst. The formulations of the present invention can be photocured to make films or coatings. In a further disclosure, the formulations, including those comprised of unmodified multifunctional thiols and multifunctional enes, are photocured to form films applied to non-flexible or flexible polymer or non-polymer substrates suitable for food packaging, electronic products, optical products and other applications and free-standing films. The present invention further discloses photocurable thiol-ene formulations comprising thiol-ene monomers and Michael addition reactive double bond molecules and a Michael catalyst. These formulations are disclosed to form free-standing films and coatings on substrates when applied to flexible substrates. Such materials are suitable for use in the packaging of food products and other products which are to be maintained in a hermetically sealed relationship to the atmosphere.

A method to assemble furniture having preformed arm, base, seat and back components is provided. This method of assembly saves on shipment costs, and facilitates the repair of damaged furniture.

摘要： A method, device, and plurality of circuit enhancements for a rectifier system that enable reduction in lower order and higher order harmonics, without substantially reducing the rectifier's direct current output voltage. The rectifier system comprises a phase shifting primary transformer subsystem and a multi-pulse rectifier. At least one series impedance path is coupled to one of three input terminals/leads of the transformer subsystem and conducts one phase of three phase currents from a power supply to the transformer subsystem. The series impedance path provides low impedance to the 1st harmonic and substantially higher, inductive impedance to higher harmonics of the power supply frequency. The impedance of the series impedance path at a selected frequency above a third harmonic of the power supply's fundamental frequency divided by the impedance at the fundamental frequency of the three phase power supply is substantially greater than the selected frequency divided by the fundamental frequency of the power supply.
