摘要： A two part pressurized hand wheel for letting the user know when a gated pressurized barrier has been set up properly. One part of the hand wheel, when turned, begins to cover up a red portion of the second part. When the red portion is completely covered up, such is the signal to the user that the latch of the gated pressurized barrier is properly aligned with the latch receiver of the gated pressurized barrier.

摘要： Disclosed is a storm protection system and method with an interior mounting assembly. In one aspect, the disclosure comprises a first jamb, a second jamb, a header, and a sill, each with a glazing recess, and each with a receptacle for inserting a screw boss that runs a length of each of the first jamb, the second jamb, the header, and the sill, wherein joined define a frame for the opening in a building. A storm protection system may further comprise glazing received by the glazing recess of each of the first jamb, the second jamb, the header, and the sill. A storm protection system may further comprise a storm track configured to the frame to, wherein the storm track identifies fastener locations for the screw boss within the frame, and wherein the storm track comprises a cap, a stanchion, and an attachment layer for attachment to the frame. The system further comprises an interior mounting bracket that allows for the addition of window treatments through the existing frame hardware and storm protection.

摘要： This disclosure provides apparatus and methods for assembling, installing, and operating a manually operated gate (e.g., a safety gate). The manually operated safety gate can include a gate frame and a spring assembly. The gate frame can include a proximal upright member, a distal upright member, an upper arm, and a lower arm. The proximal upright member can be anchored to a stationary surface. The upper arm and lower arm can be pivotably coupled to the proximal upright member and distal upright member to form a parallelogram. The manually operated gate can be configured to pivot between an open position and closed position at a constant angular velocity. The gate can freely pivot to the closed position from a self-close position. A kit can contain the required structural components and instructions and can be used to assemble the manually operated gate assembly.

摘要： The present gate includes a barrier frame and a gate in the barrier frame. The gate is opened by inserting a foot into a foot opening in the gate, which action compresses springs disposed about pivot pins between the gate and the barrier frame and draws an extended latch downwardly and out of a latch receiver that is bottomless, which action unlatches and frees the gate from the barrier frame such that the gate can be swung open. Downward travel of the gate is minimized until a foot pushes a pivoting stop out of the way.

In some aspects, the present disclosure provides variations on potential designs, smart technology integration, and applications to other types of slattable objects, including, for example, exterior and interior window coverings, architectural panels, dividers, screens; furniture; and automobiles components. Aftermarket solutions to upgrade traditional slatted structures and slattable objects are described, along with manufacturing methods to create customized sculptural slats and sculptural slat structures based on preferences, installation requirements, and slattable object.

The receiving slot is configured to securely receive the crosspiece of the bulb and to confine the shoulders of the crosspiece.
