    摘要: A method and system are provided for predicting the behavior of an individual, e.g., one engaged in an on-line session, based on a comparison of the individual's activities during that session with those participated in by multiple other parties. The individual's activities during the session and certain attendant conditions are monitored and compared with a continually updated database that reflects (a) the cumulative activities of all other parties and their attendant conditions and (b) behavioral trends exhibited by those other parties based on their participation in various types of activities under various conditions. When similarities are detected between the individual's activities and their attendant conditions and those of certain other parties, the corresponding behavioral trend of those other parties is attributed to the individual. The method and system are implemented in connection with an interactive service, for example, in an Internet environment, wherein the prediction of behavior involves identifying web sites that are likely to be visited by the individual. This prediction can be used to initiate the delivery of informational content targeted to that individual.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to generating audience analytics that includes providing a database containing a plurality of user input pattern profiles representing the group of users of terminal device, in which each user of the group is associated with one of the plurality of user input pattern profiles. A clickstream algorithm, tracking algorithm, neural network, Bayes classifier algorithm, or affinity-day part algorithm can be used to generate the user input pattern profiles. A user input pattern is detected based upon use of the terminal device by the current user and the user input pattern of the current user is dynamically matched with one of the user input pattern profiles contained in the database. The current user is identified based upon dynamic matching of the user input pattern generated by the current user with one of the user input pattern profiles. The present invention processes each user input pattern profile to identify a demographic type. A plurality of biometric behavior models are employed to identify a unique demographic type. Each user input pattern profile is compared against the plurality of biometric behavior models to match each user input pattern profile with one of the biometric behavior models such that each user input pattern profile is correlated with one demographic type. Audience analytics are then based upon the identified demographic types.

The method includes detecting at least one known product keyword and at least one product data string following that product keyword and being associated with that product keyword. The product data string can be a descriptor for the product keyword for one product in the purchase. The method also includes detecting at least one known transaction keyword and at least one transaction data string following that transaction keyword and being associated with that transaction keyword, the transaction data string being a descriptor for the transaction keyword. The data type of the descriptors can be checked to determine if they are of the same type as the corresponding product or transaction keyword. These processes can be repeated for all of the data strings in the HTML page, and this detected purchase information can be placed into an organized form.

    摘要: The invention includes a method and system for personalizing displays of published Web pages provided by Web content providers to meet the interests of Web users accessing the pages, based on profiles of the users. The system preferably provides to the requesting user, through a proxy server, an edited version of the HTML file for the original published Web page that is served by a host Web server. The system uses user profiles that may include demographic and psychographic data to edit the requested Web page. The content of a Web page as published by a host Web server may be coded to correlate components of the Web page with demographic and psychographic data. The user profiles may then be used to filter the content of a coded Web page for delivery to a requesting user. The system may rearrange content on a published Web page so that content determined to be of higher interest to a user is more prominently featured or more easily or quickly accessible. The system may also delete content on a published Web page that is determined to be of low interest to a user. In embodiments of the invention, a single proxy server or proxy server system personalizes Web pages from multiple Web servers, using a single user profile for a user.
