    摘要: The present invention provides an optical disc apparatus that changes the number of revolutions of an optical disc on sensing resonance. The optical disc apparatus of the present invention performs both the operation of writing data on the optical disc 10 and the operation of reading data that is stored on the disc 10.     摘要: An executable command selection system and method are provided. A command is selected as the next-to-be-executed command when the execution waiting time for the command is less than or equal to a predetermined reference time. In addition, the command selected as the next-to-be-executed command has an execution waiting time greater than or equal to a scanning time. Once a command is selected as the next-to-be-executed command, calculation of execution waiting times for subsequent commands in the command queue stops. In this manner, when the number of commands in the command queue exceeds a predetermined number, the method of the present invention improves the efficiency of command execution for a storage device.

    摘要: A system and method for providing rotation control stability within a disk drive. In accordance with the system of the present invention, a disk storage medium on which information is recorded is driven to rotate by a multiphase-phase DC servomotor. An actuator is utilized for loading and unloading the head to and from the disk storage medium. A load/unload controller commands the actuator to load or unload said head. In order to effectively compensate for an abrupt change in load on the servomotor caused by loading the head onto the disk storage medium, a slew rate switching unit is utilized to alter a slew rate of current supplied to the three-phase DC servomotor, based on a loading start command issued by the load/unload controller.
