摘要： A system including methods and apparatus for measuring properties of a material, such as surface tension, surface energy, absorption, adsorption, permeability, porosity and printability and the like. A chemical marker containing test liquid is applied to the material and excess test liquid not retained by the material is removed. Thereafter, either the removed test liquid or the test liquid retained by the material is analyzed to determine the amount of chemical marker substance in the test liquid and, thus, the desired property of the material.

摘要： A packaging system for uncooked edible goods including a sheet of a baking substrate and a box for transporting the sheet and goods. The sheet has a first length and first width and the box has one or both of a second length and second width, where the second length is smaller than the first length and the second width is smaller than the first width. One or more folds in the sheet enable the sheet to be folded in order to fit into the smaller-dimensioned box. Uncooked edible goods are placed on a goods-receiving surface of the folded sheet. The box is delivered to a retailer. The folded sheet is removed from the box, is placed onto a baking pan, and is unfolded while the edible goods remain thereon. The goods are moved apart from each other, the pan is placed into an oven, and the goods are cooked.

摘要： In a tub - shower environment comprising a tub enclosed on three sides by walls and open on the fourth side, where spray from the shower is intended to be retained within the tub - shower enclosure by a flexible shower curtain suspended from a curtain rod by hooks engaging grommet holes in the curtain and the rod, and extending across the open fourth side, between walls defining the ends of the tub - shower enclosure, there are provided mating pairs of hook-and-loop pads backed with waterproof pressure sensitive adhesive. The pads are positioned both on a vertical edge of the shower curtain and on the wall adjacent the shower curtain edge. A disposable rule is provided with means for attachment to a shower curtain hook. The rule is divided longitudinally into two portions, a curtain portion marked with indexes intended to guide positioning and attachment of one set of pads onto the curtain edge, and a wall portion marked with indexes intended to guide positioning and attachment of the mating pads to the adjacent wall. The positions of the curtain indexes are different from the positions of the wall indexes, whereby a tensioning effect is introduced into the curtain edge when the pairs of hook-and-loop pad are mated, thereby providing an effective seal between the curtain edge and the adjacent wall against undesired egress of shower spray.
