    摘要: AI driven motion tracking and alignment systems configured to generate time-normalized three dimensional (e.g. frontal, sagittal, transverse) data associated with pronation and/or supination of lower extremities of a user are described. A semi-rigid foot orthotic can have sensors embedded in flexible regions. Data from the sensors is used to measure how the orthotic bends to determine forces from a lower extremity of the user acting on the orthotic. Data on the flexing, bending, and/or rotating of portions of the orthotic (including velocities, accelerations) may be compared to analyze in shoe pronation and/or supination. Other detectors can measure the temperature, body weight, heart rate, and timing of motion. An adjustment device can be used to adjust the orthotic. Data may also facilitate generation of animation that accurately depicts the positions and/or movements of a user's body; the use of augmented and virtual reality for avatar based applications; and presentation of information.

    摘要: A semi-rigid foot orthotic can have 3-axis accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers, and strain gauges embedded in one or more flexible regions along with a microprocessor and wireless transmitter. Data from the sensors can be used to track the gait cycle. Data on the flexing, bending, or rotating of portions of the orthotic are processed and compared to ideal or data from other runs to rate the effectiveness of the orthotic. The orthotic and the sole of the shoe have relative freedom of motion between them. By doing a 3D comparing of the location, motion and orientation of the shoe from the same information for at least one orthotic region; determining shoe-to-orthotic relative motion. Modifications or adjustments can be made to improve the user-experience. The computation can involve either or both of a cloud based server and an external hand-held device in wireless communication with the orthotic.

Along the plate's perimeter are raised regions that can be deployed into position as a forefoot post via pivoting the plate. In some versions, adjustability is via a sliding motion. Some areas have a greater height than others do and these raised areas or protrusions can be set at either an inner side or an outer side. Depending upon the shape of the ridges on the plate and the plate's pivoted position, a range of tilts can be variability provided. The plates can be part of an interchangeable system providing more options. Professional versions can have a greater range of settings than consumer versions. Folding versions and telescoping versions are also disclosed.

    摘要: A method for teaching golf based upon comparing a commonality of personal characteristics of a student and the personal characteristics of a group of high-level golfers is contemplated herein. Data mining is used to determine clusters of golfers with common physical characteristics and commonality of swings, based upon real-time measurements. A canonical swing is developed for each desired cluster. Prospective students have their respective personal characteristics determined and used to place them in a cluster. The canonical swing of that cluster is assigned to the student. Subcomponents of performing a canonical swing are determined for instructional purposes. Biomechanical and Newtonian mechanics are used to measure the ball flight's sensitivity to each subcomponents' accurate performance and a scoring system is produced to provide a simple measure of students' state of mastering their respective canonical swings.
