摘要： Differences in gene expression between connective tissue cells (e.g., tendon cells) and other closely related cell types are disclosed. Also disclosed are expression profiles between tendon cells under different genetic and environmental influences. The presently disclosed expression profiles are useful as diagnostic markers as well as markers that can be used to monitor disease states, disease progression, injury repair, drug toxicity, drug efficacy, and drug metabolism.
